🎨📸 From book binding and wet felting to photography, mono printing and observational drawing, young people at our CashBack Hubs in #Glasgow have been exploring a huge range of creative art forms this block! They’ve also been experimenting with Suminagashi floating ink, mark making and creating collaborative artwork together, building confidence, creativity and new skills along the way. Alongside workshops, the group have enjoyed inspiring trips including the Glasgow Mural Trail and the Zoology Museum, linking in with their partnership with the @hunterianglasgow . This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re joining the conversation around the power of taking action for mental health. 💚 At Impact Arts, we see every day how small actions can make a big difference. Whether it’s joining a creative workshop, connecting with others in your community, learning a new skill, or simply taking time to express yourself through art, these actions can help people feel more hopeful, confident, and connected. As a community arts charity, our work is all about creating opportunities for people to improve wellbeing, foster creativity, improve life chances, engage with others, connect communities, and combat loneliness. Through our projects with children, young people, families, and older people, we support people to take positive steps forward - together. Because while individual actions matter, collective action is even more powerful. This week, we encourage everyone to take one small action for their mental health: 💚 Reach out to someone 💚 Try something creative 💚 Spend time in your community 💚 Ask for support if you need it 💚 Check in on a friend or neighbour Together, we can create healthier, more connected communities where everyone feels supported and valued. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2026 #ImpactArts #TakeActionForMentalHealth #CommunityArts #CreativityForWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters
