💥CULTURE 💥MATTERS! 💥 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the second Culture Matters event that explored what kind of cultural legacy the 2026 Commonwealth Games could leave behind. It was a busy event, and we’re so grateful to our speakers for bringing such depth, clarity and care to the discussion and to @uofg_arc@uofgculture for creating space for these conversations to happen!

PITCH POT brings together eight Creative Glasgow members with bold pitches for projects: from pop-up museums and interactive city-wide games to design-led tours, workshops, and live performance!
Each project offers a different way to experience Glasgow: through its hidden histories, creative communities, cultural heritage, and playful participation.
On the night, you’ll share a meal, hear the pitches, and vote on which ideas receive microgrants to take their next steps. 🗳️

🌱 Thank you to everyone who attended Spatial Ecologies for Culture, our collab event with @collectivearchitecture !
Across a series of presentations from contributors as well as excellent conversation in the room - we heard different perspectives on how the city’s spatial ecology is shifting. We were also excited to launch a new project with Agile City @agilecity_ - more to come soon! 🚀

Do you have a sustainability challenge you’d like to respond to and have a designer help you do it, fully funded?
We’re looking for commercial businesses to take part in a collaborative design project this summer!
With Creative Glasgow, @agilecity_@creativescots - you’ll be matched with a designer or design studio to work directly with you to build your sustainability credentials and give you a platform to raise the profile of your business and its commitment to environmental sustainability.

For April’s Last Thursday meet up, we went underground! HUGE thank you to the amazing @invisible_cities_glasgow for the tour of the Clyde Tunnel.
Invisible Cities is a social enterprise that trains people who have experienced homelessness and social hardships to become walking tour guides - follow them at @invisiblecitiestours and book a tour - we can’t recommend enough!

Museum in a Box is a travelling, pop-up archive bringing Glasgow’s overlooked and underrepresented histories directly into public space. Co-created with communities through workshops, each “box” holds publications, prints, and objects that foreground stories often excluded from traditional narratives.

These daily workshops invite locals and visitors to explore the city through fast, expressive drawing techniques inspired by artists from Van Gogh to Scottish Expressionists. A series of hands-on workshops where creating visual diaries of the city.
