The restaurant in Fitzrovia serves west African flavours with a fresh twist, such as this ekuru dish made with black eyed peas and served with a vibrant pumpkin seed pesto, hibiscus and scotch bonnet sauce.

Last night I was privileged to attend the state banquet for the President of Nigeria at Windsor Castle. It was a surreal experience being part of the Royal Procession - thank you to the Duke of Gloucester for escorting me (I’d tag him but I don’t think he’s on Instagram). I met the King and the Queen, the President and his wife, and many other interesting people - including Nigeria’s distinguished ambassador to the UK @biancaodumegwuojukwu
The dinner, the staff and the setting were all wonderful, even the bagpipes.
SKOF! Such a gorgeous meal at @skof_manchester this week. Thank you so much @cheftombarnes@conorcantcook@sean.oakford for looking after us, and thank you to chefs Matt, Ben, Jack and the rest of the team who were so charming and lovely throughout the dinner. The food was immaculate and delicious, and so well-judged over so many courses… sometimes long menus can be exhausting but this was light and fresh and perfectly paced. Looking forward to coming again!

We are very excited to announce a collab dinner with our dear friends Jan and Mary of @wilsonsbristol later this month. If you followed last year's @appletv series Knife Edge, hosted by young @jesse_burgess , you would have seen Jan telling the amazing story of the restaurant and their fight for survival... culminating in them winning a star at last year's ceremony. Anyway now Joké and Jan are cooking together for the first time on Tuesday 24 March at Chishuru, with Mary bringing produce from their wonderful farm. We visited Sàat @saatbkk in Bangkok this Spring and loved it.
A modern Thai café serving innovative takes on traditional Thai "dynamic" desserts.
Chefs Saki @sk.saki and @joenapol have created a clean, modern space where we could get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and enjoy a coffee and these stunning sweets.
◇ Pansib - a classic Thai snack. Small, crimped pastry filled with a sweet mung bean paste, pandan and salted coconut.
◇ Fluffy pancake served with coconut ice cream.
◇ Pineapple butter sando
◇ Claypot brioche with shio koji ice cream.
It all tasted as good as it sounds. Some really clever stuff here. Saki and Joe are clearly hugely talented as well as being lovely people and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Bangkok.
