🌞 BIG things are coming to Morecambe Bay… have you seen the plans for our NEW Eden Project? 🌊✨
This incredible £100 million regeneration and climate education project will transform Morecambe’s seafront into a world-class destination for learning and inspiration – with doors set to open at the end of 2028! 🎉
But here’s the exciting part… the VERY FIRST glimpse of the project is opening at the
@the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show NEXT WEEK! 🌿🌸
Inspired by Morecambe Bay’s dramatic coastline, rich seaside heritage and amazing local communities, 'The Eden Project: Bring Me Sunshine Garden' has been created by garden designer
@harryholdingstudio and architect Alex Michaelis from
@michaelisboyd , alongside local young adults from the area. The result? A joyful, vibrant celebration of hope, resilience, regeneration and the power of young people to shape the future 💛
And it doesn’t stop there… after Chelsea, the garden will be moving to its forever home in Morecambe, becoming part of a brand-new 1.5-acre community garden FREE for everyone to explore from early next year 🌼
Our Chelsea Show Garden has been made possible thanks to the generous match-funding from the grant-making charity
@project.giving.back . Eden Project Morecambe is being delivered in partnership with
@lancaster_city_council ,
@lancashirecc and
@lancasteruni , with support from a £50 million
@ukgovofficial investment.
