He has been filming me for the past 15+ years and weāve been around the world together including The Everglades region South Florida where I spent my earliest part of my childhood hood before moving to Atlanta in 1985. This is a very special film which visually tells the story and takes you into the environment in which I made my solo show titled.
āThe other side of paradise.ā
@swinsky and I have a long bond and chemistry. And I thought he showed beautifully what itās like to be me in my mindset of leaving this place at nine years old and also leaving my mother behind to move to Atlanta and live with my father and persue what would become my first dream, graffiti. And the full circle journey back to South Florida to my mothers neighborhood, which they call āThe other side of paradiseā to revisit and reunite with my mother over the years leading into me spending every winter there making up for lost time & creating new precious memories as well as dodging winter weather. In 2022 I began making these paintings with the surplus leftover supplies left over from my peers at Art Basel in Miami. Spending quality time with my family. My mother even helped me color in all of the pieces on paper with markers gifted to me by the late great
@djspeakerfoxxx . This is the product of resetti & healing during the winter months after the long year. Year after year, and creating new precious memories and this body of work which is the largest to date. This is the last week to enjoy this exhibit at
