This 16x16 framed piece is inspired by the Rivian compass logo and the spirit of exploring nature while protecting it. I included mountains, grasslands, coastlines, plus hidden fish, mountain goats, birds, and my favorite pollinators throughout the design. Finished with an incredible floating frame by @atlantaartsolutions .
I had a blast coming up with a concept to allow visitors to view and interchange the background color options which were based on the Rivian colors, my favorite being the Catalina Cove Blue. Check out the Rivian showroom today to see all the options!

This piece reflects on origin and transformation, referencing the dragonflyâs life cycle between water and air. The wings illustrate a layered aquatic environment, with fish moving through a lily pond and a snake hiding beneath the ripples of the surface.

This piece is my interpretation of the year of the fire horse. I wanted to capture movement and energy. I chose a horse acting as a comet, cutting through space and time. The cometâs tail was a labor of love. When I was finished, a pile of paper stars were scattered all over the table and I am still finding tiny stars in my home.
This piece allowed me time to prepare myself for the year ahead and to set expectations for myself. I hope we all find the energy to move through this year with purpose.
