YOU’RE LOOKING GOOD (2023): Just a little reminder I drew up to not sweat the small stuff today. You look amazing and you are amazing. So send this over to a friend who’s stressing or just save it as a background for your own regulation if you want to. Whatever helps to remind yourself how internally and externally FINE you are. Stay blessed out there pimps and keep going! #illustree #designspiration #damnyoulookgood

HAPPY ROO (2024): So… I know I teased it for a good minute, but I think it’s time to let the truth be known. I PAINTED THE FAMOUS FOUNTAIN AT @bonnaroo THIS YEAR!!!! This seriously feels like the best work I’ve EVER done. So many people helped make this possible but I want to give a special shoutout to @oskiadejaleel & @yoyocam for helping me paint this behemoth. You know that moment where you feel completely bound to the present and the feeling of joy spreads from head to toe? Well, I felt that in so many moments while painting this latest piece for @bonnaroo … let me list them as best as I can: 🄰 Driving with @yoyocam & @oskiadejaleel from the ATL to Manchester, TN to paint this bad boy over the course of 8 days!!! Those dudes are my dogs and I love them to death. Even though, they can’t beat me at Air Hockey. šŸ’ 🄰 When I found out one of the Bonnaroo Staff members mentioned his Daughter was an artist too, I invited her to come paint with us. Who knew, she came out and sketched up a whole design that we ended letting her paint on the eye patch of one of the characters! 🄰 Taking the Drone that the good folks at @chil.co lent me up one last time to get the perfect shot of all of our hard work! Remember what Jake the Dog said: Homies Help Homies. Appreciate yall so much! 🄰 Finally, getting to festival over this last Thursday with @marie_rn , @ky_semi , & @muhshele and seeing the Fountain ā›²ļø fully active. Brought tears that even the waters of the fountain couldn’t hide. It made me remember why I even got involved in making murals. Art is for everyone and we all deserved to have a chance to see ourselves in a beautiful world. 🄰 Also, @mike.kniight and his boo got engaged right on the fountain!!!! Slick almost bumped into them as this happened but I was pulled away at the last second to see two beautiful souls make their union official. Thanks for letting me witness your love guys! All in all, my heart and mind is SO freaking full. I’m grateful and my cup is overflowing like the waters from the fountain. Find more ways to heal your inner child. It’s an eternal quest to make moments where ā€œlittle youā€ would be astonished at life your living. So keep going

THE BEAUTY OF A TRY (2025): Any time you see me standing alone, know you may need to rub your eyes and correct your vision. I am a product of countless people who have lifted me up, inspired me, counted on me, doubted me, feed me, entrusted me, challenged me and changed me. In moments like this, where I’m on the @tedxatlanta stage giving one of the most heartfelt speeches of my life, know there are numerous people on stage with me. I couldn’t have given that speech alone. I wouldn’t have had the belief to do it. Every single person I’ve encountered, gave me strength to stand up in that Red dot…. And express why there’s so much BEAUTY IN JUST TRYING. I’m so thankful I was able to DELIVER my first TED TALK last week!!! It’s still blowing my mind tbh. I’ve never cried as much as I did on Friday. Shoot, I even made my dad and mom cry. But know, they were thankful tears. 😭 Thank you again to the @tedxatlanta team, @jacquichew for believing in me and pushing me, @genieremarks for sculpting me to be a better speaker, and @elainepowelluk for giving me the confidence to talk so truthfully about my Dad, George Baker Jr.. He’s the reason I KNOW I can TRY ANYTHING. Much love to @yoyocam and @honeypierre_ for the support in more ways than one. You both held so much space to help me make Friday such a special occasion for everyone there. The full talk will be available in April… but until then, please do yourself a favor and give something you’ve been wanting to do for the longest… a simple TRY. We’re all there with you.

Introducing: The Spirit of Atlanta šŸŽŗ Created by ATL-raised artist, George F. Baker III (GFB3), this year’s official Atlanta Jazz Festival artwork captures the rhythm, movement, and energy of the city. Blending youthful imagination with bold design, GFB3 invites us to tap into a sense of play while reflecting the pulse of Atlanta. ā€œI sought to make the piece feel as if it’s pulsating with energy and constantly keeps you moving around the design,ā€ said Baker At the Atlanta Jazz Festival, supporting artists isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the foundation. From the stage to the canvas, we’re proud to create space for artists to share their work and shape the culture of the city. —— AJF Society Members will receive a framed copy. Additional copies will be available for purchase at the festival. #AtlantaJazzFestival #AJF26 #ATLJazzFest

ALL ROADS (2026): One of my fondest memories when I was kid was going to go to the Drive-In to watch the first PokĆ©mon movie. Yes, the one where Ash turns to stone and Pikachu’s tears bring him back. Sorry for the spoiler but, I digress. Me and my stepbrother were allowed to get on top my mom @iamshayhunter car with my grandmothers Handmade Quilt and watch this pivotal cultural moment in the Detroit night air. That quilt gave me comfort, safety, and sense of connection like a hug directly from my grandmother. Which is something we should all feel at some point in time. So for this collaboration with @atlutd , I wanted to channel my grandmothers handiwork and create a scarf that generated a pathway to comfort. As I dug deeper into why my Grandmother’s quilt was woven in the way it was, I found out a lot of the patterns came from codes made for slaves to find safety during the Underground Railroad. Some patterns were meant to encourage folks to follow the North Star for safety. Others were meant to alert people of potential danger along their journey. Every stitch told a story of how to find freedom along the way. A freedom we in Atlanta cherish daily. That Atlanta spirit always leads me back here. No matter what road I take I’m always lead back to Atlanta. No other place comforts me like this. No other place can bundle inspiration & freedom quite like The City in the Trees. 🌲 With all that being said, I’m so proud that @atlutd let me tell this story with this scarf! 🧣 it blows my mind to be able to hold something so special to me… I hope once you grab one you can feel the same warmth I did years ago sitting on top of mothers car. šŸš—
