Ok so I was asked to do this podcast called “How you Grieving “ by a young man @myblackkself ! I was caught off guard by the request but when I see someone in the same space as I I try to reciprocate what people do for me ! He had lost his sister which is what made him start it . My mother died when I was 10 . So I have lived more life without her than I have with her . He asked a random question about what is a meal that makes me think of my mother. It’s always think hot dogs and chips . Specifically because I remember my mother in tears because that was a stretch meal . At that time you could get a pack of hotdogs for 2dollars and chips for a dollar buns for dollar . For the most part a full meal for under 10 dollars. But I remember seeing my mother with tears in her eyes because sadly for her that’s all she had . Her last 10 dollars to feed two kids . The continuous sacrifices made and the stresses that probably aided to her having a massive heart attack at 40.. today I celebrate mothers who make that ultimate sacrifice. That face the day so that their children will have an opportunity at the best life they can have ! Happy mother’s Day! And to my own mother ! Thank you for the sacrifice.
