Weāve gotten too good at smiling when it all gets heavy, a skill I wish I hadnāt mastered.
Iāve learned the hard way, you canāt pour from an empty cup, and you definitely canāt pour when the cup is cracked.
With that, a little space and a little time arenāt just luxuries, theyāre the solution to finding your footing again.

There are plenty of reasons not to train at night. But life doesnāt always play fair with our schedules.
Personally, when the city shuts down and the world goes quiet, thatās when I thrive. Get it in where you can, when you can, however you can.

Shoutout to Tamron Hall, and the TamFam for the invite, and hospitality. Sharing a few tips on how to feel, and move better was an honor. Just remember that a little bit, goes a long way š«” DntStp
The goal is to give you the tools to use on your own. Here are a few tips/friendly reminders no matter the day.
Compound lifts ā These target multiple joints and muscle groups simultaneously. Before getting fancy, master these basics and prioritize strategic progressive overload.
Unilateral ā This is where we iron out imbalances. We all have a dominant side. Training one side at a time forces the core to stabilize and bridges the gap between your strengths and weaknesses.
Isolation ā Time to hone in on the details. Think striations and dormant muscle fibers that stay āon snoozeā during big movements. This is where the mind-muscle connection is built.
Angles/Planes of motion ā Small changes, big results. Shifting your stance, the line of pull, or even your grip can create a completely different stimulus. For a complete physique, use an all-encompassing approach.
T.U.T (Time Under Tension) ā Speed dictates the outcome. There is no āone size fits allā tempo. Your experience, goals, and the specific resistance used will dictate how, and why you manipulate the timing of a rep.
Monitor Your Rest ā You can have the best coach , workout, and environment, but if you arenāt tracking your recovery between sets, youāre hindering your progress. The desired outcome should always dictate your rest intervals.

š£ļø Circa 2016 was an era Iāll never forget! It was the first time I was featured in @menshealthmag . Seeing where @ebenezersamuel23 has taken it today is remarkable. Itās also the same year I broke the record for the most sessions completed in a month at @equinox . 235 in the books. Shout out to the man, @biggboussham who I did my first, and last show with. We were juggling clients, training, and staying away from the good stuff. It was also the year, I got ushered into Aaptiv by the force, @meg_takacs . At that time I had tunnel vision for personal training, not knowing the limitless possibilities, and opportunities. Lastly, I had one mission to be my best. 10 years later, the scenery has changed, but the mission remains the same, DntStp
