So… I haven’t been able to do any pottery over the last 19 months as I have been fighting back from suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. But loving being back in the studio now 😊
After 13 days in intensive care, and then a few months in an unstable condition in hospital in London, I moved to Newcastle for 6 months of intensive rehabilitation, before finally moving back home to Kendal last summer. I cannot talk or walk. I use a wheelchair and a stick. Life has changed more than I could have imagined in my worst dreams. I will post more about the story but for now I want to relearn pottery!
It is only with my husband Harry that I am here and able to make pots, and spend time with my children, and fight to enjoy the small but most important things in life.
I cannot thank @built.works@paulburgalieres@lenclume@celestialfield2017@markmccabe_chef enough for their support during this time ❤️
I love working with some of the top restaurants in the country - Studio Shelfie full of pieces for some of my favourite clients @lenclume@heaneychef and @pensonsrestaurant .
Such beautiful food in these bespoke pieces made for @lenclume last year. There is so much incredible food coming out of Cumbria - and this is some of the very very best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The studio is almost back to being usable! I’ve been sorting through my stock - most of this built up when I couldn’t work through pregnancy. Feels good to be getting ready for a fresh start.
