Thrilled to share that we worked with the brilliant team at the bold new @vam_east on a generative evolving soundscape for one of the free permanent galleries ‘Why We Make’, showcasing over 500 objects from the V&A’s collections spanning art, architecture, design, performance, and fashion. Our concept was to activate and ‘give voice’ to the space by creating ‘sound portraits’ drawn from the objects and weaving them together into an ever-changing collage. It opens this weekend, we can’t wait to hear what you think! Big congrats to the whole team for a decade of work(!) and special shout out to the Why We Make Design team @ja__projects @apracticeforeverydaylife @larryachiampong @urgecollective

@scienceandindustrymuseum Horrible Science: Cosmic Chaos is out of this world - literally. We had so much fun making the intergalactic soundscapes for this and working with the whole exhibition and curatorial team. Alongside characters from the hit @cbbc show, visitors go on an epic journey through the solar system, and are faced with the choice of using your newfound science skills for good or for creating cosmic chaos alongside supervillain Dr Big Brain! Walk in astronauts’ shoes, discover Mercury and even dance on an alien disco planet. Here are some snaps of the journey round the Solar System 👨‍🚀🚀🪐 Open now until 3 January 2027

We had a lot of fun re-visiting our work on @_lightroomldn ‘s VOGUE: Inventing the Runway show recently and updating it for a new iteration that just opened to great acclaim in Shanghai’s @westbundmuseum It’s been an honour to be involved in these early stages of Lightroom, to see it not only develop as a new format for immersive storytelling, but also inspire so many directors and creatives to begin to explore its possibilities. It’s been great finding new ways to re-imagine the techniques and expertise we’ve spent years honing in sound design and composition to help bring shows like VOGUE to life.

Congrats to the whole POLYVERSE team! As ever so great to collaborate with the talented crew at @sennep_games on a new game. This time designing environments for their beautifully crafted brain activating puzzles 💫 Repost @sennep_games We are excited to share that our in-development puzzle game POLYVERSE has been selected for the London Games Festival Official Selection 2026 ✨ A curated line-up celebrating originality, ambition and creative craft and we’re incredibly proud to be part of it. Polyverse blends simple maths, spatial thinking and low-poly world-building into a calm, ‘thinky’ puzzle experience. Each puzzle restores a world piece by piece. You can play it at New Game Plus during the festival. See you there 👀 #LGF26 #LondonGamesFestival #IndieGameDev #mathgames

So what's next for HomeForest? While the current digital experience harnesses the power of immersive technologies, the ethos of HomeForest remains focused on creating meaningful experiences that strengthen connections between people and their surroundings. We are excited to see how this project continues to grow! 🌱 HomeForest: @squintopera @journeydotworld @hapticarchitects @codatocodaldn @lionheartfelt @yao_mjy @bio_id Stay tuned for more updates from the previous winners of The Davidson Prize, to celebrate five years of collaboration and imagination for the future of the home.

The inaugural Davidson Prize-winning project was HomeForest, a digital and physical solution addressing the psychological challenges of home working grounded in the principles of biophilia, developed by an interdisciplinary team including: @squintopera @journeydotworld @hapticarchitects @codatocodaldn @lionheartfelt @yao_mjy @bio_id The project draws on nature’s restorative benefits and the Japanese concept of shinrin-yoku; forest bathing. After winning the prize, Journey (which Squint/Opera is now a part of) helped to develop HomeForest into an Apple Vision Pro experience in 2024, featuring a digital twin of the user’s home virtually augmented to bring artificial nature into indoor environments.

📍Karl Nielsen Museum. Odense, Denmark. Sept 2025. Back in 2023, @codatocodaldn was commissioned to do some sound work on an installation piece at the Carl Nielsen Museum featuring ‘Voyelles’, a poem by Arthur Rimbaud, for which I lent my voice and recorded at their East London-based studios. Fast forward to September 2025, I went with the ceramic artist @baamtii to a little town called Tumerup to do some film work for a few days. Somehow along the way, I connected the dots and vaguely remembered I had done this work a few years back for a museum somewhere in Denmark… 🤔 Looking at the map, I figured it was only 30 min from where we were staying… So, of course, on the last day of our trip, we stopped by the Karl Nielsen’s Museum 🌟 🔊So here it is: Slide 1. Installation. Your favourite voice over artist. 😀(just the poetry not the opera voice 😆) Slides 2–8. More on Karl Nielsen’s musical world and compositions. A delightful collab with @codatocodaldn who also did the sound post on my film ‘Love In A Minor’. Thank you to @baamtii for letting me tag along for a bit of Danish hygge time, and whose gorgeous work you should defo take the time to look at. 💫 This anecdote reminds me that random things somehow will eventually make sense one day. Serendipity… or synchronicity? All we need to do is to… connect the dots… Full stop.

The Carl Nielsen Museum has been long-listed for a Dezeen Award 2025 for Best Exhibition Design. Seeing our small but perfectly formed project recognised alongside such inspiring projects from around the world makes us very proud. From over 4,300 entries across 89 countries, our work is one of just 15 exhibition design projects in the running for this year’s award. This time next week we’ll be opening our doors for an open studio on the project – tickets are now sold out and we’re looking forward to sharing more about the process and design thinking with those attending. A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. 📸 Gareth Gardener

Was a real treat to work with the @mediamuseum team to create soundscapes for their brand-new Sound and Vision galleries - celebrating over 200 years of media history through over 500 incredible exhibits, from pioneering technology that changed how we see and hear the world, to its role in shaping the stories we tell.. The Exploring Worlds gallery soundscape takes visitors on a descent from outer space to the surface of Antarctica and then through the ice and into the oceans below. Each environment gave us the opportunity to explore three different recording technologies that have allowed us to capture their unique sounds from Electromagnetic telescope and antenna recordings, to portable tape recorders, directional and contact microphones and hydrophones. We’ve woven in musical elements to each section, which reference composer Olivier Messiaen’s notation of birdsong in ‘Catalogue d’Oiseaux’ - giving a nod to a period of time where portable recording technology and reproduction was not available. For the Level 3 Entrance Soundscape, we wanted to highlight the technological developments and production techniques that have shaped modern cinema sound systems, via recreations of sound trailers, Hi-Fi demonstrator records and sound fidelity explainer films from the 1900s to the present day. The Level 5 Entrance soundscape gave us the chance to celebrate the weird and wonderful sound worlds created by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. We reimagined a classic science fiction story where many of the sound design ‘stars’ and iconic vocalisations from the genre can be brought together. The galleries are now open and free entry!
