@showtownbpl won Permanent Exhibition of the Year at the Museums + Heritage Awards last night! Huge congratulations to the fantastic Casson Mann team who worked so hard on making this a funny, non-museumy museum which celebrates Blackpool’s heritage. @museumsandheritage : “Full of fun, laughter, and a real celebration of local heritage this winning exhibition is lively, engaging, and unapologetically fun – the museum equivalent of a thrilling arcade, capturing the heart of its location while giving visitors a fantastic, laughter-filled journey.” Gary Shelley, Project Lead and Director of Casson Mann. “We’re delighted that our project Showtown has been recognised as the Museums and Heritage Permanent Exhibition of the Year. It was a privilege to work with Blackpool’s community, whose stories are so central to British popular culture. This is a visitor attraction about a place where working people let their hair down and enjoy themselves! We loved the chance to tell a fun story in a fun way to audiences that are, in many ways, still very much part of the story” @dhadesigns @studio_williamson @jaynekirkhamwriter @andy_altmann_studio @chriswintr @squintopera @syscoproductions @aivaf @beckinteriors @buttressarchitects @conlon_construction @true_north_manchester @allthingsstudio

We are delighted to have been selected as the Lead Designers for the San Clemente project. San Clemente with its archaeological complex is one of the most important treasures in the world: a place loved by pilgrims, art scholars and visitors from all over the world. Below the magnificent 12th century upper basilica is a 4th century church, containing some of the world’s finest medieval frescoes, dating from the 8th to the 11th century. Below is a 1st century area with a Mithraic temple. As part of the restoration project, we will be using light and digital media to reactive the site, helping to restore the communicative power of the site for visitors. @sanclementeroma

New Project! Casson Mann has been appointed to design the permanent exhibition at the Fleming Centre @fleminginitiative . Due to open in 2028 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, a century after Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin on the same site, the exhibition will explore antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – one of the greatest health challenges of our time, and invite visitors to be part of the solution. The centre, designed by architects Stanton Williams, will be a research and public engagement hub where scientists work alongside patients, the public and policymakers to scope, test and scale solutions to the growing global health crisis of antimicrobial resistance.   Dr Emily Scott-Dearing, Co-Lead of the Fleming Initiative’s Public Engagement, Involvement & Behaviour Change Pillar and member of the selection panel said: “We’re delighted to be working with Casson Mann who clearly share our excitement at the prospect of creating an exhibition in such a unique, mission-focussed context. Together we’re excited to build on St Mary’s Hospital’s heritage – the world-changing discovery of penicillin – and mobilise the next generation to keep our antibiotics working.”   We’re excited to be collaborating with Gaming and Play consultant, Episod Studio. Our approach is to transform visitors into participants through play, so that everyone feels empowered to make a difference.   Team: Episod Studio - Gaming/Play Consultant @depassmontgomery - Graphic design Satu Streatfield - Lighting Design Rob Ferguson - AV Hardware Design Goddard Consultant - CDM

👏 We’re delighted to announce that Casson Mann has been appointed to design the Fleming Centre’s permanent exhibition – a bold new public space exploring antimicrobial resistance (#AMR), opening in 2028 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. Part of the Fleming Initiative, the Centre will bring together scientists, patients, policymakers and the public to tackle one of the world’s most urgent global health challenges. Casson Mann’s internationally recognised approach aligns closely with our ambition – moving beyond the traditional museum model to create meaningful public participation and dialogue around research, engagement and social impact. We look forward to bringing this vision to life together with the team. Read more in the link in bio

Casson Mann's First Light Pavilion exhibition at Jodrell Bank brings visitors right into the story of the Lovell telescope, an icon of science and engineering. 📡 Our design uses the original metal telescope dish as an exploded digital canvas, onto which is projected the story of pioneering Jodrell scientists. @jodrellbank 📸 @huftonandcrow

We're always on the look out for the right materials for our projects. We paid a visit to @diespeker to look at their terrazzo samples and tour their workshop - a factory in the middle of London who make beautiful and bespoke materials. Always a pleasure!
