Melody & Flea, words fail me for so many reasons when thinking about this past weekend. We got to witness a love that transcends any status and brings both of these two beautiful people back to just being two Humans adoring each other. Being a part of this and getting to make a film of it for them both will remain one of the most electrifying and magical moments of our lives.
Congrats @melodyehsani and @flea333 . You two share something that most can only dream of. It was certainly a love supreme. -

One year ago, one of our favourite photos and moments of all times appeared in @britishvogue as part of their wedding advertorials.
An image so special to us found its way to print in such an iconic magazine and it all makes sense.
But the best part is that it shines light on a beautiful soulful moment between two parents and their daughter minutes before she walked down the aisle. And its moments like these that make this life make sense.

Two summers ago at Domaine de Primard - a romantic estate just outside Paris that somehow feels more magical every time we return. From a courtyard ceremony to dinner beneath the orchard trees, this wedding had a natural, refined feel, from the bride’s Oscar de la Renta to the soft summer floral palette.

Shooting analog has had a resurgence but people are finding it expensive. It is. It’s never stopped me and has been central to our work for years.
But personally it’s never made more sense financially ever.
Costs of sd cards - on the up
Cost of ssd - tripled in a month.
A direct consequence of AI.
And do you know what AI CANNOT do and will NEVER DO. shoot film, or even come close to replicate it, let alone create gorgeous tangible celluloid negs.
So with the $$ argument going out, in my opinion, more than ever, film has never felt so good.

Happy birthday (a day late) to my bestie, my brother from another mother, and the best second shooter I could have hoped for. From photographing your wedding to my other bestie @sigolene_ , becoming fast friends, travelling the world for work (and fun), many a night talking and laughing, and now seeing your kids & Axel grow up together, you are one hell of a gift.
