First feature down the hatch! “Maybe Next Year” was a feature I shot this fall in LA and New York. So excited to share some frames from the film. This was the longest project I’d worked on, and I couldn’t have done it without my teams on both coasts. It was my first time shooting in New York, which was a challenge, but ended up being so rewarding (and fun). Filming in Manhattan is crazy busy yet so exhilarating. From changing locations last minute to transporting gear 22 stories up, I can’t wait to shoot there again. SLANDER - short film 📱🪩 Elizabeth and I met back in February 2024 to chat about this film. I loved the absurdist nature of it and was so excited to create something unique with her and our team. The Canon FD-X Primes & Petzvalux Primes from @old_fast_glass brought the visual story to life, paired nicely with the light & mighty Sony FX3. We shot a promo for it a few months later, and eventually shot the first half of the project in mid-January 2025, post LA fires. We shot the second half in March, and got picture lock this October.
