My first short I directed on 35mm! I made it after a series of projects that were very (perhaps overly) ambitious in scale, ones where I felt like I was losing control as a creative. For this film, we wanted to keep it deliberately small and contained. We shot one location, with one talent, the crew just myself and two best friends. Returning to the core of filmmaking brought the love back, and you can see it here🩰🖌️

Happy to announce I’m hosting another SUPER 8 WORKSHOP event at the KODAK HOUSE in Hollywood, next Friday, August 1 from 2-4pm! This one is a little different – a lecture-style lesson, followed by time to get your hands on some different Super 8 models and check them out, including the new Kodak Super 8 camera. Perfect for beginners who are interested in film and unsure where to start – and also an awesome networking opportunity to meet some new friends at the Kodak House. You are welcome to bring your own camera, and/or bring your own film! Film will also be available for purchase at the Kodak House if you wish to shoot there. We will not be providing film/scan/dev in this specific workshop, in an effort to make a more affordable class option. As always, dm me with any questions, limited spots, $15, link in bio!
