Yesterday, jonathan.anderson presented his debut Cruise collection for @dior . Held at the @lacma , it was a blockbuster look at the connection between the French Maison and Hollywood (Christian Dior himself was enamoured by its glamour and dressed its stars). See: bar jackets in shrunken tweed for a touch of red carpet whimsy. But Anderson didn’t just do the factory of dreams in full glam. Between the playful tailoring emerged a different character: the West-Coast chiller. They ditch the formalities for flannel shirts and ripped jeans (albeit with silver-trimmed threads). He dresses like he could change the tyre on a classic Bronco using muscle memory, but also has a dreamy Modernist haven in the hills. The same easy-going vibe was carried through untucked bib shirts and yellow and blue standup-collar iterations with contrasting white trims. And when paired with suede shoulder bags, they were primed for the LAX flick-up. These button-ups were a canvas, too, housing a collaboration with LA-based artist @edruschaofficial presented through slogans like “Once” and “Says I to myself, says I”, in a nod to the artist’s gas station works.  Los Angeles is the land of dreams. It’s the home of high glamour, Hollywood, and movies. But outside of this – on the late night Sushi Park runs, Rose Bowl pick-ups or Studio City Farmers market trips, where LA style becomes looser, shirts unbuttoned, and denim thrashed – it’s the uniform of the West-Coast chiller, and it’s Dior-ified.

A rip-roaringly funny crime-com created in tandem by two of the funniest writers of their generational cohort – Schitt’s Creek’s @instadanjlevy and I Love LA’s @treaclychild – sounds like some kind of Gen Z screen nirvana. But this is no idealism – Netflix’s new hit show @bigmistakesofficial has made it a reality. Following two hapless siblings (played by Levy and @taylortega ) as they find themselves caught up in a treacherous web of organised crime, the show is shocking, chaotic and often laugh-out loud, a crisp and compelling genre criss-cross that’s among the streaming giant’s best originals of 2026 so far.    The show’s breakout is undoubtedly @borankuzum . As the unpredictable and eruptive gangster Yusuf, the Turkish actor is downright hilarious and grippingly unnerving in equal measure, a chameleonic and characterful depiction from a thespian making his English language debut in Big Mistakes.    But in his native Turkey, the 33-year-old has long been a certified star. A leading man with proven box office appeal, Kuzum has led major Turkish movies, as well as being a beloved name on the small screen, including major roles in TV shows like acclaimed historical epic, Wounded Love.   Bridging the gap between a respected actor and undeniable heartthrob in Turkey, to now making inroads into the global industry, Kuzum is proving an eclectic and engaging performer who’s only just getting into second gear. Speaking with Man About Town below, he delves into the intricacies of the Turkish screen industry, working with Levy, and why following his own path is paramount. Being in an airport isn’t too dissimilar to a nightclub. The long lines, marked-up drinks and the abundance of baggage that people carry – albeit emotional, in the case of the club. With that in mind, maybe walking to your gate dressed to the nines is a better idea than the default tracksuit uniform many tend to go for. Need convincing: look no further than Rami Malek. Arriving at the Nice airport for the Cannes Film Festival in full @lemaire , the Egyptian-American actor wore a blouson-style black leather jacket with a beige button-up that’s loosely tucked for a casual, ’90s-esque look. He went full summer-in-France mode with his white denim in a barrel-leg that breaks perfectly onto his yellow runners. The devil is definitely in the details here, too, matching his belt to his @cartier Tank. In a sea of sweatpants and comfort-first fits, there’s a real opportunity to impressively exceed all expectations at the airport without compromising on too much comfort.
