Who’s chasing who? ‼️ (part 2/3) The signal was meant for the lights. The lasers listened. One command, with two voices answering. And intercepted, an Artifact. We used @touchdesigner to intercept the dmx data being sent to the lights to control the color, intensity, chasing, timing, etc of the lasers in real-time. Whatever the lighting tech does on the board directly controls the laser’s output. Everything is happening live, the tech doesn’t touch the laser rig at all, they run the show and the lasers stay in sync. And for the audience: it appears as if the lasers are activating the lights. The room moves as one body 🌀 (part 1/3) Created by @lashan and @vanalogg Lasers by @artifact.av Lights by @_dustcollective Visuals by @by_subset Filmed live at @__endzeit Apr 4, 2026 · San Francisco — The space breathes in sequence. Light, sound, and beams moving as one — beacons igniting down the length of the space like energy passing through it. The Artifact? The room itself. Top frame: six projectors, four strobes, six bar lights, two lasers — all running on different systems, reshaped and working as one. Notice the lasers & lights are perfectly in sync, with the laser beams hitting the lights and turning them on. Middle frame: a moment caught as all the lights, laser beams, and projectors are synced in a chaser pattern, with each row of devices activating one at a time, moving down the length of the room. Bottom frame: Touchdesigner intercepting Wolfmix’s lighting cues and Resolume’s projection output, then driving all the outputs in sync. — #touchdesigner #laserart #showcontrol #dmx #newmediaart
