Release day for W133004 (@w133.records ) featuring my latest track, Cursive on A2. The rest of this EP by @monibi_music @pinolinoo @__samwho__ @siumata and sick artwork by @freya_gerz Cursive is a tripped-out, bassline heavy track with a few off-kilter, spooky synths in the mix. The story behind this one goes back to childhood — learning cursive handwriting as part of the 3rd grade curriculum in the midwest in the 90s was one of the first moments I was faced with the hypocrisy of the world. I never enjoyed cursive, an archaic writing system — it seemed so irrelevant. I complained to my teachers about having to learn it and they would answer me with, “It’s actually not important to learn it right now, but in 4th grade you’re really going to need it.” Next year, the 4th grade teacher said the same thing about how important it was for the 5th grade, and my 5th grade teacher deflected once again, claiming it would be critical in middle school. But by the time I actually arrived in middle school, no one ever spoke of cursive again. Deep betrayal. What I find irksome about cursive is that all the letters basically look the same, and the fact that you’re never picking up your pencil from the paper feels like a gimmick. But the form of a techno track is essentially that — the same thing repeated every 8, 16, 32 bars, yet the subtle variations keep you engaged and following a story. While listening to music, your ear is drawn to a single element at a time, and follows that line as it weaves between the synth, bass, pad, and drums. A synth can be wildly scribbly, while the beat continues relentlessly forward, never leaving the page. Berlin folks can join us for the record release party on December 15 at @lark.berlin

Sunday, May 17 — Endzeit, in collaboration with Samurai Music, presents the closing day of Parameter 2026. As residents and founders of Endzeit, @_kudeki and @___torsion will open the day with an extended B2B set: a rare opportunity to hear them share the booth together on home turf. Kudeki has spent the last decade cultivating the darker side of the Bay Area’s dance music scene. Known for intricate sets that move fluidly across techno’s spectrum, she draws on industrial, acid, and dub to build hypnosis through layered textures and relentless groove. Her productions are just as considered as her selections, with releases on local labels Fault Radio, AYLI Recordings, and Perfect Location Records, including her 2018 debut EP Familiar → Unfamiliar, as well as Berlin-based W133, 3024, Delusional Records, and Perimeter Junk. Torsion, FKA Sentient, explore sonic structures at the point of collapse. With multiple releases on international staples Semantica and Illegal Alien Records, their work escapes genre definitions while focusing on innovative sound design. Rooted in the Bay Area’s experimental scene, Torsion engages multiple mediums: releasing music, curating events, and crafting immersive environments that challenge conventional aesthetics, disrupt linear perceptions of time, and reimagine the boundaries of physical space.

Episode #69 of the Schimmer podcast series is mixed and recorded by San Francisco-based Kudeki. Equal parts curator and performer, Kudeki has spent the last decade cultivating the darker side of the Bay Area’s dance music scene. Her collective, Endzeit, focuses on long-form techno in unique spaces, and has quickly become one of California’s most forward-thinking techno gatherings. She has recently released music on Berlin’s W133 Records, Martyn’s 3024, LA’s Delusional Records, and Pittsburgh’s Perimeter Junk, and has shared the decks with artists such as Freddy K, Helena Hauff, Rrose, Silent Servant, and Aurora Halal. link in bio. @_kudeki @__endzeit @mull.party @blondage.xox

Back in NYC tonight for the first of three springtime @__endzeit x @signalnyc collabs, this time highlighting scandinavian techno label @northernelectronics showcase, the first of six label showcases Endzeit will host this year ✨ This is my most-played track from the entire Northern Electronics discography, Unpaid Moral Debts under one of @anthony.linell ’s many monikers Lundin Oil. Love the scratchy textures and subtle but persistent beat, have used it many times to kick off a set. I’ve been listening to & spinning @evigt_morker ’s music consistently for nearly a decade, and it’s been lovely to explore @tra1lcam ’s work in preparing for this show. Rave lore side note, but Sweden has given me so much along my musical and rave journey, including first place I worked at a show, and first place I went to an afters 🙃 See you early tonight, I’m opening the floor 10-1130pm with @___torsion !

Space Three 01: Room One SF Artists Kudeki (@_kudeki ) has spent the last decade shaping the Bay Area’s underground, creating spaces where techno can unfold with patience and defiance. As founder of Endzeit, now one of the most exciting techno gatherings in the U.S., and resident of Müll, she curates immersive nights centered on queer audiences and inclusive dancefloors. In 2025 she expanded her reach with a European festival debut at WHOLE, and the Detroit debut of Endzeit. Her musical releases span Berlin and the West Coast, while her sets reflect the same sensibility – the grit and groove of US techno fused with the hypnotic tension and precision of European techno lineage. — C://PLD (@christophaloos ) brings a passion for deep and textured techno sets that exercise restraint, gradually shifting from gentle sways into vigorous movement. His taste for spacey, jungly, and dreamy sounds comes from years of exploring techno spaces around the world. Beyond the booth, he helps organize Cosmos, an annual campout micro festival tucked into the redwood forests of Mendocino, and carries that same playful energy and appreciation for deep electronic cuts to the club.
