Today marks the release of Vanity Productions new album, ’The Vanity Project’, a compendium like a fractured reflection, images appear distorted and incomplete.
A series of fragments revealing influences, methods,
and decisions where life and work remain inseparable. Moving through the residual noise of contemporary media
space, Christian Stadsgaard draws from social media remnants, dark web transmissions, and untreated human sound.
These elements are processed through noise electronics and tape manipulation, collapsing source and signal.
’The Vanity Project’ is constructed as a dense, uneven surface.
A collage of found sound, environmental interference, and
emotional residue. The result carries Vanity Productions’ characteristic melancholy, Nordic restraint, and accumulated
debt, forming a quiet but insistent tale of romance and reflection from the source. northernelectronics.bandcamp.com Bandcamp exclusive release today, April 10th Streaming rest of the world from next week. Vinyl will be shipping mid May. Distribution via www.spacecadets.world

We’re presenting another track from ’The Vanity Project’, the forthcoming album by Vanity Productions, in collaboration with Merzbow. A fractured glimpse into a larger whole where warped fragments, digital debris and noise converge into a raw, melancholic reflection.

Northern Electronics presents NE112, a collaborative work by Anthony Linell and Evigt Mörker, entitled ’Ett anständigt liv’.
Marking the first alignment between the two artists, the record unfolds as a study in continuity, pressure, and sustained focus. Across four pieces, a steady and tensile sonic language develops, immersive in its repetition and controlled in its ascent. Subtle psychedelic inflections — recalling early trance states — surface within a darker, more restrained framework. The result is neither nostalgic nor decorative, but reduced, deliberate, and directed forward. Tracklist

An invitation to gather for a rare presentation, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Set in Kiruna, a mining town slowly shifting beneath the weight of its own ground: Headframes unfolding in a forsaken mining ground of Toulluvaara – where Kiruna bends toward its edges. Two towering frames still rise, black silhouettes against the winter sky, monuments of iron that once pulled the earth’s secrets upward. The ground itself is contested: some call for erasure, a cleansing of rust and ruin, others dream of its rebirth, a cultural vein struck deep beneath the frost.
In communion with Northern Electronics and Svarta Anka, the site will be reopened, reimagined with its hidden contours revealed in sound and shadow. For one night, intricate pulses and weighty resonances will move across the frozen air, carried on a system tuned for precision, reverberating both inside walls and into the open dark. It arrives on the threshold of the polar night—when the sun withdraws for twenty-eight days, and the landscape surrenders to absence, silence, and the possibility of becoming.
