Let us present. Evigt Mörker The unsettling terrain of Evigt Mörker's world can be broken up into a few frenetic parts that give the overall impression of a serene habitat. There's the otherworldly foreground of his techno works that are blissfully psychedelic as well as carefully structured for the most subtly disorientating shifts, and hovering amongst this is his wholesome grasp on the purpose and consequence of melody. Together, this is Evigt Mörker's deadly and addictive mix. Hailing from Sweden, some initial forays into bands in his youth went hand-in-hand with an early exposure to techno. Yet it was the illegal rave scene in Stockholm that would prove to be most formative. The circuit of DJing and parties soon fed into the need to create a platform from which to work, and so the identity and label Evigt Mörker came into being in 2013. The first four  releases cemented Evigt Mörker's ability to rouse melodic dynamics out of an ambient setting. Whether settling and fixating on a rhythmic pattern, or shuffling through different emotions, often these tracks would career into rapturous dancefloor pieces. It didn't take long until the formidable Semantica Records tapped him for a release, which produced the stunning EP, 'Helmet of Bones.' From this point, Evigt Mörker would come under the austere wing of Northern Electronics.   For those that have witnessed Evigt Mörker live or as DJ, a different side to his recorded output comes into play. Often far more forceful than his releases, there's an energetic and rhythmic power reserved for these moments. It's perhaps this versatility that's kept him in such high demand as a remixer. Taken to the other end of the spectrum, Evigt Mörker's live shows are capable of elegant ambient pieces, if holding a dancefloor down isn't the modus operandi.

Let us introduce, Anthony Linell Biography The cohesive array of depth charged devices that Anthony Linell has produced is formidable. From his opening statements as Abdulla Rashim on his early label of the same name, right through to his recent work that puts his aliases aside, there is a robust and rigorous intent that compounds the elemental strategies of techno's models to apprehend his singular vision. Presiding over Stockholm's Northern Electronics label with Varg (Jonas Rönnberg), Linell dispenses with mechanisms of attention on all fronts. Marked by an indefatigable self-reliance, the label presents exactly what it means to display, and no more. Carving an idiosyncratic platform for his music is as great of a warning as there could be that Linell's leveraging little toward the benefit of the audience. By his measure, the familiarity and comfort of contemporary techno is stripped back to its rushing heart, the senses left tailgating the strobe In a fit of intuition over decision. The greater this is exposed the colder it gets, and its in these extremes that Linell's caustic rhythmic precision hits. Live, it comes off as a galvanizing strike from the outside; analysing the room as a DJ, it's a case of being pursued through the dark. Just as the brevity of Linell's output in the eyes of techno is exalted as it is brought into focus, the background to this blurs as you start to decipher his other projects. Lundin Oil skirts the fringes of noise and experimental music, and in collaboration with Varg as Ulwhedar, this is perhaps even more pronounced. Purposively ricocheting between the techno world and experimental electronic music, Linell forges a distinct passage that gathers the aesthetically uncompromising motifs and missions from across this spectrum. It's this combination and resolve that's brought Linell to the world's attention, however little that attention has been solicited.
