Now we're introducing our 2nd guest: Pino Peña. @pinolinoo has been part of Berlin’s scene for over a decade, coming from a background in punk and jazz before finding his way to the decks. He runs his own label @w133.records and is a resident at @schimmer_records . His sets pull from a lot of directions, techno, house, breaks, and whatever else makes sense in the moment. By now, friends of the label know we love split ep‘s! We also love bringing back previous artists and, needless to say, also introducing new ones. W133015 delivers all of this in the form of timeless techno, bringing back Dutch vinyl lover Bruecke and welcoming @klubklubklubklub boss Hannes Lang to W133! The latter starts off the ep with „To the What“ A fast yet light techno bouncer, with unique sound effects and trippy voices. A2 is A1’s slightly more wiggly brother, called „Bodies in Sync“. Stretched tension-building synths and tickling tiny perc make it one for the ear candy lovers. On the flip side, Bruecke starts off with highly venomous „NDT“. An old-school sounding energetic track that features drizzling drones and dissonant chord progressions. The last tune of the record is slightly slower and dubby „It‘s better than Yesterday“. It wobbles along and keeps a steady pace yet never losing its dubby vibe. W133015 is out since 1st of May digitally and as a 25 copy dubplate edition, featuring a fully printed artwork cover by Philipp Roth. Hola amigxs! Next Saturday May 16th Ritmo de la Noche is back for a third edition of joy. This time we’re bringing: @_agily_ kicks things off. The Jonny Knüppel resident has been playing around Berlin for quite some years with high energy sets that move across genres. Pino Peña (@pinolinoo ) needs little introduction. Based in the city since 2014 and a digger at heart with roots in punk and jazz, his sets flow between techno, breaks, house and bass, always delivering. After a decade in Manila working and curating XX XX club, @kuya__david now calls Berlin home, where he runs regular nights at @ciao_ciao_bar . His sets move across genres, drifting into the psychedelic and the unexpected, guided more by feeling than formula. And yours truly, @_francisconada and @noisecasino host the night, playing with the devotion of people who take the dancefloor seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Our idea is simple.
