Hey… hey! … HEY!! 😠 my eyes are over here.
Got back from the Draaimolen-Berlin-Chicago-Folsom mini-tour, had my requisite ennui-driven crashout 😉, and then immediately got to work on a new @faited.systems build for a project that’s such a great aesthetic pairing I’m having a hard time not talking about it. @granitegrrl is helping out with this one, which is the first time I’ve had a dedicated cobuilder in the shop—she’s a natural talent for it and has made it possible to implement some new design updates and improvements that I’ll hopefully be able to detail when there’s a moment’s rest.

I spend the last three weeks in the Northeast, assisting with @honchopgh and @systemactivate . I feel so lucky to spend time living outdoors in a new, novel ecosystem (look at these bugs & other critters!) while helping to shape these spaces into temporary dance floors. Leaning into music this summer instead of my typical outdoor pursuits has been a different type of adventure and I’m thankful for all the people it has brought into my life 💗
once we realized post-setup that there would be direct sunlight on the decks for a few hours each day, @granitegrrl designed and prototyped these turntable sunshields onsite at @systemactivate ! 🕶️☀️🎶
Lucky to have spent the end of 2023 climbing in Bishop with Kari, Lindsey, and Sorrel! This trip got me so stoked on bouldering and I have newfound motivation to train over winter 🧗🏼♀️
Yesterday June and I checked off a Yosemite bucket list item for me, the Tuolumne Triple Crown!! Connecting three amazing formations (Tenaya, Matthes, and Cathedral Peak) over 11 miles made it a long 11hr day but a beautiful one! And the mile long ridge on Matthes was maybe one of the more fun scrambles I've ever done. Now that I know the routes, I wonder how much faster it could go next time..
Mount Rainier!! Nick and I ascended via the Emmons-Winthrop route in a single push, taking 22 hours. I’m completely new to mountaineering and this was an incredible introduction!
I also carried up my estrogen and was able to do my weekly shot at the 14,000’ summit. There’s something quite satisfying to me about taking my HRT in wild places.
