After an afternoon of open-air listening in Elk Glen Meadow, the night belongs to the dance floor. @__shigeto steps behind the decks at Underground SF for a full DJ set, carrying years of releases on @ghostly International and elsewhere, and a deep rootedness in Detroit's experimental underground. The same city that built @mondayisthenewmonday , his weekly that became a cornerstone of Detroit's electronic community, is the city whose spirit runs through everything AYLI's Unabridged campaign honors. Shigeto is equally at home soundtracking a room of closed-eyed listeners or one full of sweaty bodies. Today he gets both. Holding down support are two selectors who know what a room like this demands. @aivilo.b2b.olivia , Unabridged's project lead, brings her fluency in house, techno, and the left-field textures that make late nights feel like discovery. @researcher.mp3 rounds out the lineup with wide-ranging, scene-tested curation: part Brooklyn, part Detroit, all intention.
