In 2003, the same year I packed up my life and moved to Portland, @royksopp released Melody AM. I don’t think I took it out of rotation for years. There was something about that record that felt like hope. It soundtracked some of the most formative moments of my early life in this city.
Twenty-three years later, I get to open for them on a sold out night at @realm.pdx alongside my dear friend @bizio_music . I genuinely can’t believe this is real.
