Second year of @__endzeit in Detroit - here we go! Last year was a smashing success, and we're hoping this one will be even better. Have the fortune of setting the mood for some favorites - Rrose and Timnah. There are still tickets left if you're in motor city that week. Feeling nostalgic, so also including a video from the very first Endzeit party in Oakland - June 2023, with U-SRD and Vril.

We have the pleasure of helping with the kickoff of Parameter 2026! This is an amuse-bouche of legendary names, and if this is the Thursday lineup, the bar is set extremely high. Thanks to Paramater for having us, and for bringing incredible acts to the city. For the stage production, we'll collaborate with @graycrawford on visuals, @jsonpayload on lights and lasers, @exteeng on installation art, and of course @grayareaorg staff.

Two combined as one ‼️ (part 3/3) The board sends light, the visuals send shape. The lasers answer to both — beams meeting the lights, edges tracing the walls. Two signals, one set of lasers listening. What you see before you, their Artifacts. We used @touchdesigner to pull two live data streams into a single laser system. The DMX feeding the house lights drives the beams that land on the lights (same setup as our last reel). At the same time, the visuals running out of Resolume on the side walls feed back into TouchDesigner and shape the laser edges hitting those walls. Lighting tech runs the board, VJ runs the visuals, neither touches the lasers — and the lasers stay locked to both. If you missed it, check @artifact.av ’s last reel for part 2 — DMX-driven beams on the lights. And the one before that for part 1 — projectors, lasers, and lights moving as one. —— Created by @vanalogg and @lashan Lasers by @artifact.av Lights by @_dustcollective Visuals by @by_subset Filmed live at @__endzeit Apr 4, 2026 · San Francisco Built using @touchdesigner #touchdesigner #laser #newmediaart #audiovisual #realtime

The room moves as one body 🌀 (part 1/3) Created by @lashan and @vanalogg Lasers by @artifact.av Lights by @_dustcollective Visuals by @by_subset Filmed live at @__endzeit Apr 4, 2026 · San Francisco — The space breathes in sequence. Light, sound, and beams moving as one — beacons igniting down the length of the space like energy passing through it. The Artifact? The room itself. Top frame: six projectors, four strobes, six bar lights, two lasers — all running on different systems, reshaped and working as one. Notice the lasers & lights are perfectly in sync, with the laser beams hitting the lights and turning them on. Middle frame: a moment caught as all the lights, laser beams, and projectors are synced in a chaser pattern, with each row of devices activating one at a time, moving down the length of the room. Bottom frame: Touchdesigner intercepting Wolfmix’s lighting cues and Resolume’s projection output, then driving all the outputs in sync. — #touchdesigner #laserart #showcontrol #dmx #newmediaart

The beam reads the room 📡 (part 4/4) Created by @lashan and @vanalogg Lasers by @artifact.av Laser tracing by @vanalogg Visuals by @by_subset Filmed live at @__endzeit for @sf_artweek Jan 24, 2026 · San Francisco — The projection is the source; the laser the echo. What you see has been seen twice — once by the projector, once by the beam. What’s left, an Artifact. Top frame: Van of Artifact and Andreas of Subset running their live visuals. Middle frame: Subset’s visuals run live, and the beam pulls contours out of the image in real-time and traces them back onto the same surface. The lasers are mapped onto the source material; the beam is reading and redrawing it live. Bottom frame: Subset’s visuals running out of Resolume on the left, feeding into Touchdesigner where we extract contours and drive the laser output. Raw projector and laser output, with audio-reactivity pulled from the decks. Follow for more, to see what’s next 👁️ — #touchdesigner #laserart #projectionmapping #realtimegraphics #audioreactive

We've hosted a few @__endzeit parties now, but it never feels routine. There's usually a new venue, new setup, new artists - we have to adapt to what we have. But last Saturday, all the parts seemed to fit together. Thank you to everyone who came! Stage production by @adam____kennedy Lasers by @artifact.av Lights by @_dustcollective Visuals by @by_subset

For the Church of Endzeit, this is perhaps the closest we get to a visit from the patriarch! Tomorrow, Friday 13th, Donato effing Dozzy will do a six hour set with visuals from yours truly. The future is here, let's make it more evenly distributed. Email [email protected] for tickets.
