Happy Saturday! host: @bowlingandyoga inspo: @awwjoaww pose name: #CasualHiddenEagle I am BEYOND excited to feature an old IG yoga friend of mine from the good old days (circa 2016 or so.) Can't believe we have been connected for 10 years! We bonded over flying crow pose eons ago and have been supporting each other from afar ever since. Jo is talented, lovely, and strong, and you should check her out! This week is fairly straightforward (you're welcome 😁) although the arm lines can be a bit tricky. Swipe for my video! 📌 Tips from the host: ✨Camera is on a short tripod ✨ Warm up arms and shoulders for a bind and standing hamstring and glutes ✨ Cross back leg over front leg at the ankle (flip your foot to balance on top of toes) ✨ Lock out your standing leg and hinge with a straight spine ✨Top arm hand is over bottom arm hand ✨ Tuck your chin toward your legs, gaze is down ✨ Hide your face behind your arm YSYD is for all to play - no rules or timeline and all mods welcome! clawing & crawling my way into the weekend—who’s with me?? 😅 hallo! bringing you this week’s yogi-see-yogi-do with the @YSYDcrew . we shall call this one #DoTheHopperCrawl, inspired by the lovely @adrianiyoga (swipe to see her) i couldn’t get my hopper to be so slinkily low & crawly like our inspo, but YSYD welcomes all our shapes, however we manage them! so come give it a whirl, mods are always welcome. QUICKIE TIPS: 〰️ warming up the hips, core, ankles & stretching tops of feet can only help! 〰️ i found it easiest to start seated. 〰️ hook arm around same side foot, so the top of the foot is in the crook of the arm. 〰️ bring that hand/fingertips to the floor with foot hooked, forearm of other arm down like you’re about to do a funky arm balance. 〰️ now liiiift the other leg’s knee with top of foot on the floor! you may find it helps to lean forward a little & tap into your strong core & shoulders (bc yes, you’re 💪!) 〰️ my camera was pretty low to the ground, a block height at most. happy shapemaking! happy weekend! 🫶

Today is Saturday, and it’s… 🔥 YOGI SEE YOGI DO 🔥 This week I’ll be your host for @ysydcrew 🤟🏼 Flying has always been a fantasy of mine. For years I collected miles like a religion — business class, upgrades, lounge access, the whole thing. These days? The only flying I do is this. And honestly… no turbulence, no middle seats, no crying babies. I’ll take it. ✈️ This week’s pose is inspired by the incredible @amporndula — I’m calling it #FlyingYogiMode Fair warning: holding this for more than 2-3 seconds is a bold life choice. But that floating sensation when it clicks? Absolutely worth the face-plant attempts getting there. Heyyy 👋 it’s Sarka and I’m hosting Yogi See Yogi Do this week. Saw this cool, relaxed shape by the lovely Katarina @stretchilates who makes it look so effortless and graceful. We are calling it #CasualCrissCross Swipe for video and inspo pic. Can’t wait to see you try it! 🤔 When you think “YSYD” pose, what do you expect it to have? 🙋‍♀️ It’s Jen Bell here. I’m your host this week and I’m brining you everything I expect in a YSYD pose: 💪 Elbow pinching 🦵 Knee bruising 🐼 Panda rolls 🔺 The YSYD trifecta (Sorry. ᵂᴱᴿᴮᵁᴺᴳ Happy Saturday. It’s YSYD day and I am your host this week. The lovely Jessica @j.az.yoga inspired me with this beautiful infinity variation we call #LoungingInfinity. ♾️😊 Swipe for a video and check the tips below. 📝 My tips: 👉🏼 Camera is on the ground (I even turned it around). 👉🏼 Warm up your body, espresso hamstrings and hips. 👉🏼 Lie on the floor and bind the lower leg first, grab around your toes with your lower arm. Extend your knee away. 👉🏼 Bring the top leg in front of your face and hold your foot with your top arm. It’s crazy that only two hours of picking up trash brought two major bags of stuff that people just discard because it’s convenient… 😑 Aaaanyway, am your host for today’s Yogi See Yogi Do and I chose this #FunkyFlutterTripod inspired by @sammekimyoga 🫶🏻 How to get into it: 🦋 start in a half tripod / half bound headstand base 🦋 walk your knees in close and bring knee onto the tripod arm 🦋 lift into a tucked headstand first—find your balance here 🦋 slowly open the knees out into a butterfly shape, feet drawing toward each other, knee stays on the upper arms 🦋 add a gentle twist or tilt to play with the funky shape—this isn’t meant to be perfect! (I crossed legs the wrong way!!!😉) Come join us! Happy Saturday my friends ✌🏻 Time for YOGI SEE YOGI DO!! Host: Me 🙋🏼‍♀️ Jo @jbreton22 💗 Inspo: Kamala @mielcarzewiczagnieszka Pose Name: #TwistedLadyLines I’m happy to be your host this week and feature this super cool shoulderstand by our inspo Kamala. I’m all about lines so this was fun to play with! Kamala is very active in the yoga community, participates in all the weekly hashtags, is positive and supportive and makes some really awesome shapes! I’m surprised this is her first feature by this group! This isn’t a high shoulderstand but it’s unsupported so mind your neck. And balance may be a bit tricky! 📸 Swipe to see my video and our awesome inspo! My tips are: ✔️ Pad your neck, I used a bra pad ✔️ Fire up that core because you’ll need it ✔️ Tuck and drop your lady legs to the side ✔️ Arms and gaze go the opposite way ✔️ Use a wheel, the wall or blocks to help you balance ✔️ Always have fun ✌🏻 Follow and tag us all to play! She's been around the gram for a long time and participates in tons of challenges ..and ALWAYS brings it! I've been wanting to choose one of her poses for a while and this final day of February feels like it needs a chill, laid back pose ✨ Swipe for her awesome pose and my video. She made it look easy but it definitely took some work for me to open up enough and balance it! 📌 Tips from the host: ✨Camera a bit higher ( I used short tripod on a planter) ✨ Warm up pecs and shoulders ✨ Elbows in line with shoulders, work towards forearms parallel with ground ✨ Gaze straight up ✨ Feels more like a hinge back than an arch ( lean upper body back in one piece) YSYD is for all to play - no rules or timeline and all mods welcome!
