From the Gemstone Series
As part of our ongoing exploration into the emotional and material resonances of gemstones, Obsidian draws inspiration from volcanic glass—formed through pressure, forged by fire, and polished into presence. Known for its deep blackness and protective symbolism, obsidian absorbs light more than it reflects it. Only along cut, fissured, or polished edges does a quiet shimmer emerge—mirroring the human experience of showing up only when it feels safe to be seen.
