BLUE PHOTOBOOK CLUB Vol.1 with guest artist Marie-Lisette Cropp @marielisette_ We’re very excited to announce the first gathering of Blue Photobook Club, a monthly community space for photographers, artists, students, and anyone interested in visual storytelling, photobooks, and creative exchange. For our first session, we are honoured to invite London/Berlin-based multimedia artist Marie-Lisette Cropp @marielisette_ to join us for an afternoon of photobook sharing, conversation, and a collaborative zine-making workshop. Marie-Lisette’s practice explores the female body, image culture, identity, and transformation through photography, installation, sculpture, and moving image. Combining digital processes with hands-on experimentation, her works question how womanhood is represented, constructed, and experienced within contemporary visual culture. Alongside sharing books and artistic references, we hope to create a warm and open environment where people can meet through images, ideas, and conversations. Blue Photobook Club is not only about photobooks , it is about building a supportive creative community where people can gather, exchange thoughts, and feel less isolated within artistic practice in South East London . Everyone is welcome, whether you are an artist, student, publisher, photographer, or simply curious about visual storytelling. Feel free to bring a photobook you love to share with others ♡ 23rd May 2026 16:00–18:00 Blue Garage, 30 Engate Street, Lewisham, London, SE13 7HA * RSVP via Eventbrite (link in bio) Please come by, and bring friends along ✨

Today, my photobook Fissure of a Sweet Dream 《美梦的缝隙》 is finally published in Chinese by People’s Posts and Telecommunications Press. This book took more than a year to complete. It went through many revisions, alongside difficulties, challenges, and unexpected moments. It was not an easy process, but it has finally come into the world. I am deeply grateful to my editor Wang Ting and my designer Cao Yi @cao1caoyi for their care, patience, and trust throughout this journey. I would also like to thank No.223 @finger223 and Wei Mai @iamweimai for writing the foreword for this book. This book is the final version of the series I began in 2023. It holds a period of my life that felt uncertain, yet driven by a desire to explore possibilities. I am not sure if I found an answer in the end, but through making this work, I became an independent and freelance visual artist and photographer. Making a photobook is often exhausting. It carries the weight of many people’s effort, and it may not be understood or loved by everyone. There are risks, compromises, and things beyond control. But finishing it already feels like a kind of victory. Thank you to everyone who was part of this project, and especially to my friends on the island who became part of this story and made it quietly beautiful. I hope we can all find a way to live the life we truly long for.

Photographer @keykeyyan ’s new photobook, ‘Fissure of a Sweetdream’ dives into her time in the Wanning, a region set on Hainan Island off the country’s south coast, best known for its sandy beaches, subtropical scenery and vibrant surfing community. Having first travelled to the area in early 2022 – as much of China continued to face tough cycles of lockdown – she had joined an increasingly growing population of young Chinese people choosing to turn their backs on big city life and careerist grinds in favour of the slower pace of life on the island. Amid an unemployment crisis among Chinese young people – one in five between the ages of 16 and 24 are reportedly jobless – a movement among Chinese Gen Z and millennials is seeing people buck China’s trend of rapid urbanisation and seek out rural areas. Her book provides a sun-kissed, balmy portrait of their lives and the area’s countercultural youth – many attracted to Wanning by the burgeoning surf scene and its rejection of mainstream Chinese society and pressures. It features warm shots of her friends hanging out by the sea, watching waves and giving each other DIY haircuts, with Wanning’s paradisiacal backdrop forming a key, consistent character. A huge thank you to @outlandpublishingfair for the opportunity to host this three-day pop-up exhibition, and to our co-curatorial partner @sitnalta_2702 for the collaboration. Over the past weekend, we showcased diverse multimedia works from 11 different artists. As seen in the photos, we aimed to transform a limited space into a warm, ”living room“ corner, creating an intimate atmosphere that bridges the distance between the art and the audience. Our deepest gratitude to all the participating artists and the team who helped with the installation and de-installation. Miroir Project looks forward to seeing you all again in the near future. 💫

Longing for Home is a series that explores how personal and collective experiences take shape over time, and how they continue to exist in subtle and often intangible ways. Rooted in shared experiences of distance and displacement, the work reflects on what “home” means, and on the emotional distance that comes with living elsewhere. → read the full story on our website Producer: Wang @tuuuseew Art Director: Lulu Yang @lulong2000 Stylist:Monica Jiang @ferrrariboi Makeup:Yilin Du @yilindu_makeup Hair Artist:Hannah @yandaihaozhoaa Model: Peipei Tang @no__eyes Photography:Jialin Yan @keykeyyan Lighting:Alex Kim @alexkim21 Lighting Assistant: Alfie Lofthouse alfielofthouse , Nan @suandoujiao_ Stylist Assistant: Qinyuan Chen @ma.shi.rong Production Assistant: Vanessa

🛫Panel Discussion & Book Launch Fiction / Retrieval — How Do We Reconstruct Reality? 圆桌对谈&新书发布: 虚构/回溯 — 我们如何重构现实? 2026.4.17 5:10-6:10pm Panel 郭潇南Alex Xiaonan Guo @archimbaldi666 姚多金Charlotte Yao @charlotte_yao_duojin Host by 严佳林Jialin Yan @keykeyyan Language|English Copeland Gallery, 133 Copeland Rd, London SE15 3SN @copelandparkse This conversation focuses on alternative narrative as a creative methodology, examining how practitioners move beyond linear temporality and singular frameworks of reality to re-enter the “present” through multiple trajectories. Both artist Charlotte Yao and the curatorial project Project sitnaltA seek to disrupt linear narrative structures, instead approaching the present as a site that can be reconstructed, and even fictionalized, through transpositions across time and space. This event also marks the pre-launch of Project sitnaltA: The Archive @sitnalta_2702 , a publication accompanying the curatorial project of the same name. It compiles visual and textual documentation from three exhibitions held in 2025, along with curatorial reflections on methodology and its implementation. The Archive.)的预发布,汇集了其2025年三场展览的图像与文本记录,收录策展人有关策展方法、落地方式的反思。 - Image 6-9: Preview of sitnaltA Publication (Interior Pages) Image 10: Installation view of “sitnaltA: 1,2,3, Alt!,” 2025, Hypha Gallery, Marble Arch, London. 🌐 Upcoming Exhibition 🌐 Fflattening Earth / 悬置的停机坪 @outlandpublishingfair 2026 Presented by 西乐塔Project sitnaltA (@sitnalta_2702 ) x 照镜子Miroir Project (@miroirproject ) 🛬We invite the audience to linger between two-dimensional narratives and three-dimensional reality: stepping into distant dust through the pages of a book, encountering echoes of “home” in the dizziness of spring, and entering spaces that feel familiar yet subtly displaced. In the darkness, shrine-like forms and alien beings drift through dream states. Through zines, installations, and moving image works, artists engage in an ongoing rewriting of time within this intimate framework: extracting, suspending, and reconfiguring the continuously vanishing present. Reality and memory, personal narratives and collective structures, permeate one another across a flattened plane, where they are mediated and extended through acts of imagination.🛫 · 🛬在起飞与抵达之间,我们短暂停留。 🛫 · 💺Artists Qingyang Chen @qingyangcc Toby Bo Fan @bofan.psd Gaoyi Jiang @gaogao__laille Xiaohan Luo @__hanhl_21 Minghao Wu @minghaowuu Holli Xue @hollix.x Sean Yang @xiao0415 Charlotte Yao @charlotte_yao_duojin Freja Jiahui Ye @huifreja Zhen Zhen @_nehzhen Zoe Zhao @20e_zhao · 💺Curated by 郭潇南 Alex Xiaonan Guo @archimbaldi666 严佳林 Jialin Yan @keykeyyan · 💺Supported by @outlandpublishingfair @copelandparkse · |Copeland Gallery, 133 Copeland Rd, London SE15 3SN |Free Entry 🔷17 April (Fri) 14:00-19:00 🔷18 April (Sat) - 19 April (Sun) 11:00-18:00 #exhibition #londonexhibition #contemporaryart #zine #publishing
