A small beginning. 🌱
New works made this year, partly shaped by my experience with Contact Improvisation — thinking about the tension, folds, and the emotional weight carried in small movements.
In September, some of these pieces became the starting point of a duo exhibition at SEPTIÈME, Shanghai, titled ‘——‘ (em dash)(破折号） —— a pause, a silence, a threshold where perception shifts between inner and outer states.

A commissioned project about salt, shot for @sigmaglobalvision & @isseymiyakeparfums
This summer, I spent a few days walking around the wild salt lakes near Salin-de-Giraud in southern France, at first just recording light, water, and salt, until I began to notice how they shifted and breathed with the sun, move between stillness and disappearance:
The salt crystals, their soft reflections,
the blurred edges when they evaporate,
the traces left on the rocks and ground,
they all became ways of seeing and remembering.

Before relocating to London, @ldx_lo and I presented an open studio exhibition in Shanghai last year – ‘Moving’, at @ontable_studio .
This exhibition explored how we think and remember, how our bodies connect with the spaces and objects around us, and the delicate awareness of shared living experiences within relationships. 🤍
