🌧️☀️Misleading weather apps have a detrimental effect on businesses like ours. When your weather app indicates cloud and rain all day, this could actually represent under 1mm predicted at five minutes to midnight, as it does for us this Saturday. Please check real forecasts… we are sunnier than you think!
Let us know in the comments if you business that gets affected by this too! 😎☀️

Some long hours going on as we look to open our new shop, this is why Neil looks half asleep. More on the new shop to come but let’s focus on Thirsty Thursday @thirst.drinks.syndicate tonight. We have @wistonestate Brut by the glass where Neil was last week, more to come on this as well. An award winning estate with this wine blend illustrating Wiston wine making style. Get there early before Neil drinks all the wine and falls asleep…

Summer is approaching which makes it the best time to visit a beautiful English vineyard 🥂
I’ve visited a fair few vineyards after living in Kent and enjoying many staycations in the south of English. Here are my top 5 which offer beautiful views, delicious food and exceptional wine. Plus they are child friendly. Winning!

A visit to Wiston Estate Winery reminds you just how exciting English wine has become. We enjoyed a beautiful tour through the vines, followed by a fun, relaxed tasting of four sparkling wines that really showcased the estate’s precision and style: Blanc de Blancs NV, Brut NV, Rosé NV, and the standout Estate Cuvée 2020.
Highlight: Estate Cuvée 2020 — 9 months on oak, 4 years on the lees. Primarily Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay and a touch of Pinot Meunier… and without question, my personal favourite.
Tasting notes: crisp green apple, citrus peel, lemon posset, almonds, tarte tatin, delicate brioche, and a fine, persistent mousse.
And a small but memorable touch — delightfully solid pencils in hand, jotting down tasting notes as we went.
The real fun, though, was in the company of @suburbans_uncorked
Perfectly poured, perfectly shared. 🍾
