Such a brilliant weekend - amazing comedy night with Andy Kind, fantastic preach from him the next day then a wonderful time of worship at Royal Holloway SU with Philippa Hanna bank holiday Monday. No wonder I’ve been tired - but happy - today!

What an incredible morning yesterday. A privilege to be part of the audience for the Woman Alive podcast. Six years on. I have spent the last year wrestling and writing about defiant faith that clings on, stubbornly refusing to let go of God and continuing to believe in his goodness despite not always seeing it. And today, as I remember the woman who taught me the most about such faith, I am so moved and humbled that I am able to continue her legacy. Mum loved writing - always told me I was doing the job she had wanted to. I am so grateful to have had her as my mum - and still miss her so, so deeply.
Really pleased to see copies of the bereavement book I’ve had the privilege of working with Care for the Family on - really helpful book for the first months after loss: The Grief Journey.
The adventures of Dave Slap Max through time with Dave Hearn and to Neverland, meeting two Maxes along the way and gaining the Dave slap of approval. Max had many exciting encounters, including with Delta von Tassel, but his favourite was of course the bowling pins! 🎳🐊✨
