Very excited to share the Visions of Johanna exhibit with you all tonight. A huge Thanks to the gaggle of talented folks involved in this one! Hope to see you tonight, it’s gonna be a hoot! Visions of Johanna: An invitational Art Exhibit centered around the music of Bob Dylan Curated by Tim Kapustka Opening Reception: Friday, May 9 • 5-9pm Studio & Gallery • 1027 Main Ave, Durango, Colo. “Ain’t it just like the night, to play tricks when you’re tryin’ to be so quiet?” You are invited to join us this Friday in what is sure to be one of “those” nights at Studio &. I 33 Artists, 1 song... we bring you an art show born from a Bob Dylan song. 33 artists were invited to participate, each was randomly assigned a title taken from the lyrics of Bob Dylan’s song “Visions of Johanna.” (listen here) They were then asked to make a piece of work from that title. The exhibit will be hung in the order of the song’s lyrics, forming an illustration or ‘vision’ of the song. It’s been a whole lot of fun so far, and i can’t wait to experience this with you!
