Last Sunday, April 19, Durango declared its first-ever “Ross Anderson Day,” marking 20 years since the hometown skier set the American speed skiing record at 154.06 mph! ⛷️🔥
The celebration, which was held at Rotary Park, featured a traditional acknowledgment, cultural performances, and the official proclamation from Mayor G. Yazzie. We look forward to marking our calendars and celebrating Ross Anderson Day for years to come!
