We have had a very eventful last couple of weeks in Niagara!
Over week six we competed at the Niagara College District event, where we were thrilled to captain Alliance 4 with our friends
@frc1360 and
@newbotics and go all the way to the finals. We were also recognized by the judges with the Quality Award (completing the engineering award hexafecta!), and our team captain Shayon was recognized as a FIRST Leadership Award semi-finalist 💛
Some of you might’ve already seen that that day’s excitement did not stop there. We really can’t say this enough, but thank you x1000 to
@frc4039 for your help with our broken trailer on the side of the road. They were kind enough to let us stay at their shop for the week before Provincials and get robot repairs done.
We then headed right back out to compete on the Science division at Provincials. It was a stacked division, where we ultimately captained the third alliance with
@celt.x.5406 and
@frc9562_hcdsb . Our alliance finished third overall on our field, and we were recognized with the Autonomous award! 🤖 🥉 After all the district points were calculated we finished the season ninth in the province.
Leo is now on his way to Houston, catching a ride with
@frc2200 for our final event of the season where we will be competing on the Milstein Division. So exciting!!!
As always, thank you to our sponsors, partners and families for supporting us as we go through the season. It takes a village. 💛🧇💛
