Thrilled to be part of the Compositing team 😸 The cat’s finally out of the bag… 🐈 We’re thrilled to announce that @blinkindustries has teamed up with Netflix to produce a brand-new adult animation series called 'Alley Cats,' created and directed by Ricky Gervais and co-directed by Blink Industries's own Elliot Dear. It's due for release on Netflix in 2026 and is a bold 2D slacker sitcom that follows a scrappy crew of feral British cats navigating the highs, lows and in-betweens of everyday life on the streets. Expect some familiar voices, as the stacked cast includes Ricky Gervais, Tom Basden, Andrew Brooke, David Earl, Kerry Godliman, Jo Hartley, Diane Morgan, and also features Natalie Cassidy and Tony Way. Creator and Director Ricky Gervais adds, “I play a fat, lazy, rude, opinionated creature with fangs, who’s not as smart or brave as he thinks he is. So quite a stretch.”
