Five Things With is a quick-fire format built around five prompts. A way to move past the usual interview answers and hopefully get to something more real, instinctive and unexpected. Kicking things off with @nilsleonard felt like the only right way to start. He probably doesn’t need an introduction, but for those of you living slightly outside the advertising bubble: Nils is the co-founder of @uncommon.creative.studio , arguably the hottest creative company in advertising right now, sitting somewhere between advertising, branding, culture and contemporary art. In the last few years they’ve made some of the industry’s most talked-about work, launched products, opened new offices, built a cult-like reputation and somehow ended up exhibiting at the Venice Biennale too. Beyond the work itself, what I’ve always found inspiring about him is the clarity of thought, the ambition and the ability to make creativity feel bigger than just “making campaigns”. Genuinely grateful to @offfest and Zoe for the chance to spend 15 minutes with a talent and personality like his.

Uncommon are the Agency Of The Year at the @britisharrows awards on their iconic 50th year. So so chuffed to win this and so proud of the people I am lucky enough to work with for such a diverse spread of work to take this home. There are some people that see and understand the studio and what we are trying to do and some that just don't. Thank you to the judges and the industry around us that get how hard you have to go to play at this level. As the studio reaches its ninth year I have never been more aware of how lucky and privileged we are to work with the partners we have and to share time with the people that call this place their work. Thank you. Mad proud.
