Phew, well, this definitely has been a lesson, and a useful one at that!
Honestly I think I could spend more time on it, it's still quite a bit janky in places but I think I learned new things so I'll probably just archive it and move on to the next one.
Biggest take away has to be how important is to plan ahead when managing very chaotic and detail rich areaa, it's a lot about trusting the process and building in steps rather than aiming for the final result right away, might seem obvious but I feel in this medium it's even more true than digital.
In all fairness I already had massive respect for masters who can paint these sort of backgrounds at such high level of quality and precision. Just attempting a study puts you back in your place 😂 of course I have very limited experience with the medium so I can't even start to compare BUT all in all very rewarding experience.

Found a bit of time to finish this after work today, nothing better than just sitting there painting and listening to some history podcast (last part is probably just me 😂), very chill!
Anyway it's really nice to paint something just for the sake of it. No portfolio stuff, no work related things, no personal project, just some fun splashing around colors!
Also I love that this dries EXACTLY how I lay it down, it's a blessing.

WIP study. Decided to try and get a bit of traditional Painting done before work, only managed to get so far but maybe with couple more mornings I will be able to complete it.
To be honest I'm just happy I even managed to get started doing this 😂 the amount of mental effort it takes me to even set up the space, pick a subject and then do something that I still find really challenge is definitely something.
Anyway! Really wanted to ramble for a bit ✨ take care folks.
