Is hard to look back sometimes, and think about the dreams I had as a kid, and later think about the stuff I get to do now. Makes me wanna pinch myself sometimes.
I'll be forever thankful to @thelineanimation for the opportunity, and @xavierramonede who never stop teaching me things. @hewll@maxtaylordesign and @tim_mccourt for the direction and all the support. Huge thanks to the coolest production team @evaviolamaria@ekaterina__saiapina@mim_chi_ella and @daisymlink . I had nothing to do with the art department but huge thanks that team for inspiring me everyday with their beautiful work.
Also, all the cave stuff was done by the LEGEND @jonathan_djob_nkondo and I got to help with tiedowns on Russel and the bird.

Now, on the completly opposite vibe from the previous post, here I had to deal with so much happening almost at the same time. The challenge in those cases is make sure things happen in a certain order, and try to make sure one action don't take away from the next.

Happy Monday folks! Here's another breakdown from a shot I did for The Day the Earth Blew Up.
The ammount of possibilities we could explore when animating that gum monster was endless, so something I thought It was fun here, was to have one of the tantacles turn into a claw as the fire hits the monster, to push the feeling of pain, but at the same time, I didn't want that detail to steal the attention aweay from the monster's face. Was it too subtle? did anybody even noticed that detail? Let me know in the comments =D
