British Champs 2026 Squat: 285 (+7.5) Bench: 140 (=) Deadlift: 297.5 (-7.5) Total: 722.5šŸ„‰(=) 9/9 3rd place at British; crackin day, buzzin really. Had been a woeful prep and clocked I had to cut 2.5 keys at 8.30pm the night before by 9am this mornin, but no point callin it in advance. Ended up my best performance to date and a podium spot at British, which feels like a real payoff after a fair bit of work over the years. Of course injuries and the like changed the complexion of the class, which is never ideal, but you can only piss with the cock you’re given and silverware endures. Glad to finally push squat on, which is always the only thing I’m really that fussed about. Great to meet and compete with some new folks, and see all the usual fellas. Cheers to @ciarwhite.strength for saving me from myself (on a daily basis) and to @jamie.apto for suiting me to a tee on the day (as well as overruling my senseless shout on third bench). Once again taking stock, while trying to avoid letting success or failure exert too much gravity, I’m content on the current path. A comeback from the Celts the morn and we’re on a RohlšŸ€

Lux recap Squat: 277.5 (+2.5) Bench: 140 (+5) Deadlift: 305 (+5) Total: 722.5 (+12.5) GL: 95.02 (92.0 body weight), 27/27 white lights Good day out and buzzing to have been able to get my first outing for Scotland. Initially wasn’t too pleased with squat, knees really didn’t want to play ball and I always want to squat more, but a PR nonetheless and first time taking over triple body weight. Bench was great, finally gotten the monkey off my back (thank fuck). Deadlift was crackin, really findin my groove there and rounded off the day so well I couldn’t keep the emote in. Big thanks to @ciarwhite.strength for keeping me in check and not letting me bring about my own demise. Thanks too to @coachbilly_pl for getting everything spot on all day, ideal handler. Had a brilliant weekend away with both the Scotland lot (even @liftsjl the Judas) and the rest of the folks who were along. A number of others I could tag but in particular it was a pleasure competing with @chrish_lifting and @_theogoff again. I tend not to reflect much on achievements in any sphere to avoid becoming complacent or satiated, but I’ve actively forced myself to take stock after this one. First international and first time representing Scotland, first triple body weight squat, first comp 3 plate bench (long day), another 9/9 with change added across the board, and leaving it in good health with an eye for more. Incredibly grateful for every aspect of this experience and I don’t take it for granted; you can’t take fitness and fortune as a given, so I’m very thankful for both having been in my favour.

Squat: 275 (= comp, +10 training) Deadlift: 290 (-10 comp, +5 training) Bench: 140 (+5 comp, +2.5 training) Total: 705 (-5 comp, +17.5 training) Squat and DL moving great, bodes well given previous peaking trends. DL is +10 on what I’ve pulled on calis in training and moved much better. Best bench has ever felt, could’ve done with pausing it properly but hey ho. 1 week out from Lux. That’s all she wrote.

Squat: 260X2 Deadlift: 285X1 Real good week 4 given the sleep, body weight and peace exams have pilfered from me. I must get close enough to ragebait @_theogoff before Luxembourg. Externals are a myth + you don’t need a combo & calis + no I won’t be posting bench.

Deadlift: 270X2 (= maybe idk but much easier) Squat: 245X3 (+10) Bench: not being added to a public profile Cracking Week 4. Decided to play football on Sunday and it (unsurprisingly) ruined my knees. Could barely walk up and down the stairs til this morning but white monster n 4 ibuprofen and job was a gooden. Won’t make a habit of it though (I have done and will continue to) because the lovely tech we’ve seen all block turned sloppy the day @ciarwhite.strength . Last @icbarbell session of the calendar year, back for twa weeks at bear pit soonšŸ˜›

710 (+22.5) @ 92.2 275 (+7.5)/135 (=)/300 (+10) 9/9⚪27/27 Surprisingly good day after what was a pretty cocked prep. Felt like every lift had at least 2.5-5 in the tank. Also felt like a performance I should've put out a long time ago, ticking off a couple milestone numbers (still no 3 plates bench fuck my life I'm not worth shooting), but think I can really kick on from here and do something solid come British. Thanks to @ciarwhite.strength for his infinite wisdom, @peter.apto for performing some magic pre-bench on the shoulder injury which I picked up a week out n looked like it was going to tank my already abysmal press, and to @joshstein.pl @chrish_lifting @jdutch_pl @jj.naut for a good bit of fun. Should probs tag the @aptoperformance junta too.

255 double on squat last exam of the undergrad finished the day, rewarded myself by exceeding the load cap. away for a couple weeks from tomorrow so training will be unstructured, but hopefully get a wee bit in. really solid for a post comp block.

British 2025 squat: 267.5 (+10) bench: 135 (+2.5) deadlift: 285 (-5) total: 687.5 (+12.5 & 8/9) squat’s movin, still can’t bench and joined the 300 fail club on deads. nice wee day out, thank you mr @ciarwhite.strength for being great and stuff. feel in a good spot to push on, maybe figure out how to press at some point. yolo’d 300 on third dead to give a go at clearing 700 but was never gonna move. was good to see the bais, cheers x
