755kg @92.6 🥇 98.98GL points (best male lifter) 245-262.5-267.5 (+7.5) 160-167.5-172.5 (+2.5) 285-305-315 (-5) This was my last time competing at Scottish juniors and it was a great day out sharing the platform with @jdutch_pl @chrish_lifting @tmc.pl Squat felt so strong but I fumbled my second attempt and made it look really hard so we didn’t load 600lb (272.5kg). Bench went perfectly, attempt selection was bang on the money. Deadlifts felt a bit mid. I lost the momentum I had going into classics after missing a couple pulls in training on grip. We took what was there on the day and still managed to up the total by 5kg at almost 3kg lighter bodyweight so a good comp overall. Also got drug tested for the first time ever which was pretty cool. Thanks @alasdair.wilson1 for the coaching and handling, looking forward to the next one. Also thank you @tangfasticslifts for getting these videos for me 🙏

Damn good session Squat 250x2 Bench 167.5x1 DL 305x2 PR I think we have cracked the code @alasdair.wilson1 this current micro split WORKS. Squats felt really good, bench felt ok and deadlifts felt insane. Still sitting below 93kg and bench is feeling better every week as my weight goes up. 3 months out from Scottish champs (Classics) let’s goooo! @powerclubgym.gla

Fun day out yesterday doing Glasgow Hyrox with my dad. Both of us had absolutely no right signing up to the Pro devision 😂. Should definitely have just started with a regular one, the sled pull was brutal. I ran mine in 1:32 and my Dad ran his in 1:48. Really enjoyed doing this style of training since working at @f45_glasgow_westend While powerlifting will always be my main focus I definitely intend to keep training cardio all year round. My sleep quality has improved and I can recover so much quicker between sets when lifting. Despite being on a cut and doing a lot of cardio powerlifting training has been going well. Motivation to train has never been higher and I’m excited to see what I can put up at Classics.

Scottish Classics 750kg (+12.5) @95.3kg 96.96 GL points 232.5-250-260 (+10) 157.5-165-170 (+2.5) 285-310-320 (=) Very happy with today! Thanks to @park_performance for another great comp prep, @alexrobertspl for the spotless handling job and @sammie_sulek for the videos. Was pretty nervous before my first squat but the day went smoothly, definitely a bit more there on all 3. Excited to see what I can bring to next year’s classics. My bodyweight just has to start with a 1. Without a doubt the best comp @scottishpowerlifting has ever run. Crazy how far the sport has come in the last few years.

745kg (260/170/315) Feeling good for it (9 days out) Bodyweight slowly going up but still only at a measly 96.5kg. Thanks to @sammie_sulek refusing to see me film my top sets with a water bottle as a stand we have nice videos of my bench and deadlift.

737.5kg @95.8 BW 95.1 GL points 222.5-240-250 152.5-162.5-167.5 275-305-320 Perfect 9/9 day. The most fun I have had competing in a long time. Excited to see what I can do when I fill out this class. Squat has always been the lift I struggled with the most but today proved we are heading in the right direction. Thank you to @park_performance for the coaching, we really nailed this prep. Perfect handling from @alexrobertspl today. Everything went exactly as planned. Onto classics!

Northerns 2025 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 240/160/305 (705) @92.7 92.3 GL points I had a really good prep but strength was not there today to hit numbers we were expecting. I will get proper videos for the British next month. Thank you to @park_performance for the handling and coaching. Glad we managed to squeeze out 700+ Thank you @thomasss.scott for the cut. I’m excited to lower bodyweight slightly for 🇬🇧 A well run comp today by @scottishpowerlifting and a good catch from the spotting team on my 3rd squat :)
