A look back at a collaboration from last June, when many of the season’s favorite elements had just begun returning — potted strawberries, delicate cosmos, flowering branches, and garden roses in shades of soft yellow layered throughout the space against @degournay ’s Florilegium wallpaper.
Inspired by the romantic garden world of Rachel ‘Bunny’ Mellon, the arrangement felt deeply tied to the fleeting beauty of spring and all the textures we wait all year to welcome back 💛

A look back at Sami and Pat’s wedding, where we designed the aisle exclusively with white delphinium, leading up to a natural altar of ferns, delphinium, and orlaya.
On the tables, we brought in tree peonies, echoing the garden elements present throughout the property, allowing the landscape to carry through the entire design.

A late spring scene from last year, in collaboration with @degournay . We used nasturtium tucked into faux vegetable vases, alongside tumbling garden roses, with a small topiary—a nod to Bunny Mellon’s love of sculpted forms.
Set against the Espalier hand-painted wallpaper by @degournay , created in collaboration with @oakspringgardenfoundation , the scene loosely draws from the gardens at Oak Spring, where these varieties might have grown.
A study in seasonality, just as everything begins to shift.

Today we’re bundled up inside thanks to the NYC snow, but we’re thinking back to this cozy yet festive evening last Thursday at @chezfifinyc for a dear client’s birthday celebration. Tight table dimensions force chic design tailoring, but we still found room for julep cups of pommes frites and our birthday girl’s favorite @bonbonnyc_ candy in silver dishes freshly set just before guests joined for dinner.

From caviar and cocktails in the art-filled lounge to a seated dinner of classic French favorites and endless pommes frites, followed by mingling over cake, champagne, and more sweets to round out the evening — last night was an idyllic start to an iconic year.
