Last week we had the very great honour of welcoming HRH The Princess Royal to our home in Marlborough, in her role as President of the UK Fashion and Textile Association and in celebration of the launch of our new collection of wallpapers.
Her Royal Highness observed the printing of our Marlborough design, both on fabric and our newly launched wallpaper as well as lampshades being handmade. It was an honour to share with Her Royal Highness the artistry, creativity, and technical expertise that go into every one of our designs, across each department of our production facility, from design to print.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Her Royal Highness and @wiltshire_lieutenancy as well as @ukftorg for making this such an incredibly memorable visit.

We are very excited to share news of our first collection of wallpapers.
Many of you might have guessed what we have been working on behind the scenes - testing the extraordinary artistry, creative and technical capabilities of our studio and production teams - but few will have foreseen what we could only hope to achieve! Each of the designs has faithfully recreated it's companion fabric, in all its complexity and hand-drawn beauty, including carefully recreating the twill of our base cloth as well as the colours and patterns with absolute clarity.
The most remarkable feature of our wallpaper is that it is only by passing your hand over the paper that it becomes apparent the surface is flat, not woven.

New cushions have dropped!
Salina is an excellent way to dip your toe into colour and pattern and being printed on 100% linen, these cushions will add a softness to any space.
The York Stripe walls of this bedroom lend a gentle rhythm to the space, with their soft, hand-drawn lines creating a calm and considered backdrop, lifted by the bolder warmth of the Club Yellow lampshade and the smaller details of the Marden headboard.
The rhythmic rows of geometric shapes found in Tara were inspired by the near-perfect snow-capped silhouette of Mount Taranaki and hand-drawn by Hannah our Head of Studio while on a recent sabbatical in New Zealand.
The name Tara, meaning ‘peak’ in Māori, carries a quiet resonance for serendipitously it is echoed in Irish Gaelic, reflecting the strong family connections to Ireland enjoyed by our founders.
Tara has been designed for and printed on Fermoie’s 100% cotton basecloth, and also faithfully translated to wallpaper with both available in the same 14 colourways.
Striking a balance
@caitlinmillerinteriors has cleverly created a dining area which is both impactful - thanks to a vibrant red glazed wall - but also incredibly well balanced owing to the neutral tones of the walls and Savernake banquette, whose pattern also serves to soften the room.

An alcove with attitude.
What works so well in this small space is the scale and pattern of the tonal Whittle wallpaper; it's interesting without being overpowering and balanced by the intensity of the blue gloss floor and a playful layer of colour from the artwork.
Blink and you might have missed one!
We've had a busy month, with not one, not two, but three new additions to our collections.
In case you missed it, Box Pleat Lampshades have arrived, accompanied by two beautiful new fabric designs, Tara and Salina, which have also launched as part of an 11 strong expansion to our wallpaper collection. We're very excited about these new arrivals and can't wait to hear which one is your favourite!
Patterns at play
Delightful new additions to our cushion collection, in just-launched Tara and Salina: cotton and linen, square and oblong, large and small! Which is your favourite colour combination?
Time for a nap?
We couldn't think of a better perch little chap, and seeing as it's a bank holiday we'd be eyeing up this spot for tomorrow too. A perfectly plump banquette upholstered in Poulton Stripe dotted with some very comfy looking cushions for that all important texture and layers of pattern - we think you're parents have excellent taste!
