The Ra Wall, one of our most iconic creations, is a fascinating blend of strength and delicacy. Imagined by @alex.joncas , it has been a @studio_darmes centerpiece since 2017. Its disc, like an eclipse, captures light while creating a soft and enveloping ambiance.
This award-winning piece (@archiproducts_awards , 2017) is a source of great pride for us.
Since its launch, we have continuously improved our manufacturing and sourcing process with the switch to LED tubes, prioritizing quality materials and working closely with local suppliers. Each light is hand-assembled in our workshop in Canada.

A window left open, the warm breath of day’s end, and that particular silence that settles in as the sun begins its descent.
There is a poetry to these moments where indoors and outdoors become one. We watch the bangs of the Cé Wall stir gently, carried by an invisible breeze, like an echo of the passing wind.

The Hartau collection brings together classic lighting fixtures that, at first glance, captivate with their striking lines and details.
The lampshades, a signature of this collection, feature two openings for both directional and indirect lighting, which diffuses towards the wall or ceiling to create a soft, warm glow.
Designed to integrate harmoniously into a variety of spaces, the Hartau’s design adapts equally well to both contemporary and more traditional interiors.

Born from a unique collaboration between Montreal glassblower Jérémie St-Onge and Studio Darmes, this project is the alliance of two masteries: glass and light. It embodies the perfect fusion of artisanal craftsmanship and luminous innovation.

The Gigi reveals itself gradually, offering a singular visual experience. Shaped by the rhythm of the glassblower, its colors unfold within the material in unique shades and nuances. Gigi offers high-quality, bidirectional lighting that dims to warm hues.
Based in Montreal, Canada, Jérémie’s work attests to an uninhibited approach to his medium, allowing him to deepen the primary meaning of form. Following production, a study of line and color reveals pictorial, even romantic, compositions.
Whether it is the Gigi Table or Gigi Grande, it infuses every space with a mysterious ambiance, attracting the eye like a beacon of glass and light in the center of a room.

This year was defined by the showcase of our collections on the international stage. Especially our two new collections, Doppler and 1979. From the vibrant energy of @designtofestival Toronto to the creative effervescence of @milan.design.week within the iconic @alcova.milano exhibition.
Our global presence reached a new milestone with the arrival of our collections at @mohd_homedesign in Italy, a key partnership for our European growth. And our participation in the @ensssemble exhibitions at @_parquette and @soukmtl served as a meaningful tribute to the strength and importance of our local creative community.
As well as a major milestone for our team: the purchase and move into our new workshop studio, a space designed to fuel our future ambitions.
The most exciting chapter is yet to come. In 2026, Darmes will celebrate its 10th anniversary. We cannot wait to reveal what we have been preparing for this landmark year ✨

Hyphen is more than just a light fixture; it’s a luminous sculpture, a dialogue between material and light, an exploration of union and balance.
Two suspended cylindrical bodies intertwine in a fluid, silent motion. With its curving shape, the versatile Hyphen can be used as a pendant light. Connected by a central pivot, the modules offer a variety of positions and orientations, projecting a soft, directional light that evolves with the space.
The name Hyphen is derived from the ancient Greek huph’ hén (ὑφ’ ἕν), which means the union of two opposites into one. The materials and finishes have been carefully selected to interact with light and reveal subtle chromatic variations, even when the object is switched off.
The collection benefits from the expertise of ceramic artist @gretaceramiste . Each porcelain piece is shaped by hand in Morin-Heights, Quebec. This meticulous process, completed in several stages over multiple days, gives each piece a unique texture that captures the essence of touch and time.
The Hyphen collection was first presented at @icff_official and won the @archiproducts_awards in 2022.

Initially inspired by neon, often associated with intense white light or illuminated signs at night, @studio_darmes has reinvented this iconic object, infusing it with a refined, timeless aesthetic.
Its LED tubes, encapsulated in hand-curved glass, diffuse a soft, mesmerizing glow, featuring adjustable colour temperature and intensity.
Rare modernist dining room set designed by architect Luc Durand for Quebec manufacturer Blier Inc in 1966. Based on uncluttered vertical and horizontal lines, VE-HO represented a new style of home furniture.
Durand was a famous Quebec architect, responsible for designing the Pavillon du Quebec from Expo 67 and the Montreal Olympic Village from the 1976 Olympics.
All the elements of this furniture system are assembled without nails or screws. Birdseye maple dining table with two captain chairs and four side chairs. Cotton and acrylan upholstery. The patina has been restored to its original condition.
