Meet the team 🙂🙃
We are a women-owned design studio based in Montreal. At smallmediumlarge, we work across furniture, spaces, and their in-between. With a name that reflects our expansive approach, we are driven by curiosity and shapes that matter.

From design school friends to buisness partners, everything started from a night out with enough cocktails to come up with a delusional plan: starting our own studio. Which we did end up doing, by combining our practices and backgrounds in industrial design + architecture.
We’re excited to share new work, collaborations and a fresh new website, all coming very soon!

The Dressing Room by Smallmediumlarge
Introducting The Mellow Pouf & The Sync Side Tables
Images @gablaporte
Launching the Collection,
The Mellow Pouf introduces softness through concave geometries, where a cushion gently envelops and hugs its sculptural base. It invites shared use and fluid movement, encouraging multiple ways of sitting and gathering. Designed as a versatile seating element, it stands independently as a spatial anchor, bringing character and softness to multiple environments.
The Sync Tables emerge from an industrial process-led approach that foregrounds construction as a defining language. Standard hardwood components, typically relegated to secondary roles, are repositioned as primary compositional elements. Defined by raw geometries, each piece reads as both system and sculpture, with the assembly being exposed to reveal a rigorous, intentional grid.

We design things. We share ideas. We agree to disagree. We try to write relevant instagram captions. And sometimes we sit on Don Chadwick's modular sofa to share our faces more often.
