PLANNING APPROVED FOR THE FINAL CHAPTER OF GREENWICH MILLENNIUM VILLAGE We are pleased to share that RB Greenwich has resolved to grant planning permission for 258 new homes at GMV, continuing a long partnership with GREENWICH MILLENNIUM VILLAGE LIMITED (a joint venture between Countryside Partnerships and @taylorwimpey with the support of Greater London Authority). Rooted in the masterplan’s two-decade legacy, the proposals take a people-first approach, with generous, active ground floors designed to support everyday social life. The scheme includes new commercial units, integrated adventure play and a richly planted streetscape by @studio_bosk drawing on the calm character of the nearby Ecology Park. 35% of homes will be affordable, with the majority provided as social rent and the remainder as Shared Ownership. Sustainability is central, with a heat pump-led network, maximised solar PV, blue roofs and rain gardens, targeting a 64% reduction in regulated CO₂ emissions over the Part L1 2021 baseline. A gateway to the wider GMV neighbourhood and the river beyond, this is a fitting next step towards the original ambition of a modern village in the heart of London. #GreenwichMillenniumVillage #NorthGreenwich #LondonHousing #AffordableHousing #UrbanDesign LandscapeArchitecture SustainableDesign HeatPumps Architecture Team: Studio Bosk Sandy Brown WSP Ecolytik OFR Consultants Velocity GIA Surveyors Ramboll Waterman Group Newmark Alban LLP Cavendish Consulting Visuals by @pillarvisuals

We’re excited to celebrate the start of on-site construction at Sea Lanes Canary Wharf, an incredible new floating natural water swimming pool and wellbeing destination set within Eden Dock. We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the Sea Lanes team on design development and technical design for this unique urban project. A brilliant step forward for urban wellbeing, we can’t wait to see it come to life. #SeaLanesCanaryWharf #CanaryWharf #UrbanSwimming #WellbeingDesign #LandscapeArchitecture WorkStartingOnSite @evolutionarchitecture2009 repost • @sealanescw Big news!! Construction is officially underway at Sea Lanes Canary Wharf 🏊‍♀️ London’s new floating, natural water swimming pool is coming to Eden Dock. A 50m six-lane pool in clear dock water, year-round outdoor swimming, renewable-powered saunas, and space to eat, drink and reset - right in the heart of the city. As Joe McNulty puts it: “This will bring the physical and mental health benefits of open water swimming to the very centre of London - more than a place to swim, an inclusive urban sanctuary that promotes wellbeing, community and connection with nature.” London…we’re getting closer. 💙

Our Christmas party this year was spent doing something a little different. We headed to the Brighton & Hove Food Partnership for a day of cooking, learning and eating together. On the menu: prawn panang curry, mushroom Thai spring rolls and a classic Thai salad, all made from scratch and absolutely delicious. Plenty of laughs, teamwork and very full stomachs by the end of the day. The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership does brilliant charitable work across the city, supporting communities through food education, access to healthy meals and reducing food waste. It was great to spend time in a space that gives so much back locally. We missed Imogen and Jack on the day, but that’s just an excuse to go back again in the new year! Tasty food, good fun, and a lovely way to round off the year together. #christmasparty #christmas #cooking #foodwaste #foodeducation @btnhovefood @btnkitchen

We’re delighted that the Electric Works regeneration project for re:shape has received unanimous planning approval from the Royal Borough of Greenwich. A huge congratulations to the whole team. This milestone unlocks the transformation of a long-inaccessible site into a welcoming, people-centred neighbourhood with new public realm, green spaces and routes that reconnect Woolwich. Our landscape strategy focuses on creating inclusive outdoor spaces that support everyday social life, from active ground-floor frontages and improved walking and cycling connections to biodiverse planting and community-led placemaking that will deliver long-term social value. At roof level, a series of fun, accessible social terraces will offer new places for residents to gather, relax and enjoy expansive views across London. Proud to be part of a project that prioritises people, heritage and landscape in equal measure. @savills @dla.architecture

A brilliant day out in London for the Studio Bosk team 🌿✨ We took a trip to Marshwall and Woolwich with some very special guests, the children of our team! Watching the children explore gave us invaluable insight into how people of all ages interact with the spaces we design. At Marshwall, the children embarked on adventures across the play equipment on the ground and second floor while the adults took in the beautifully planted terrace above the city. In Woolwich, they roamed the high street and made a beeline for the square’s water fountains, a simple feature that quickly turned into an irresistible play opportunity. Watching the children move through these spaces, invent games, socialise, and respond instinctively to the landscape reminded us how vital outdoor environments are for their wellbeing. Moments of freedom, confidence-building, and connection like these are essential to healthy development and absolutely achievable within dense urban settings. Days like this strengthen our commitment to designing playful, inclusive, nature-rich places where children can thrive. Huge thanks to our mini explorers for showing us what truly works!
