Outdoor, by the river, under the disc
Super grateful to perform my live projection piece ‘Liminal Water’ as a triptych of one performance and two projected works under the disc at the Big Four Bridge as Flanger Magazine
@flangermagazine played an improvised experimental exploration of their album ‘After the Bend’.
Sora Kim’s ‘Turtle Walk’ (2010) and Katinka Bock’s ‘Couler un tas de pierres’ (2007) were also projected as the primary works on this second stop in the ‘Portals, Pathways, and the Space Between Us’ traveling outdoor popup exhibition curated by Sso-Rha Kang
@kangssorha and organized by KADIST
@kadistkadist , The Carnegie
@thecarnegie , and KMAC
@kmacmuseum .
The event was wonderful, moving, and fun, and I loved seeing so many people brave the wet weather to enjoy it.
My deep appreciation goes to Joey Yates
@joeeyates and Sso-Rha Kang for the wonderful collaboration, my partner at dreaMachine transmissions, David Jester
@mimicvisuals , for our earliest fiddlings on the piece, and Waterfront Park for making it all possible in such a magickal space.
