I couldn’t be more proud and excited to see two incredibly talented artists @djdnasti & @mdnght.hr aka @blackqueerpowerhour taking such a huge step and heading to Detroit for their first gig during the legendary Movement weekend. Their hard work, passion, and dedication turn into opportunities like this is inspiring for everyone in Louisville who has cheered for them from the beginning. They’ve put countless hours into perfecting their craft, and now they get the chance to share their music and energy with a whole new crowd in a legendary music city. No matter where this journey takes them next, they’re already making our hometown proud, and I know this is only the beginning of something even bigger for both of them!
This young man @gudgroove is a perfect example of: set your goals high + work your ass = desired results. Not only is his new release the anthem for the Kentucky Derby, but he has 14 gigs in Louisville this week, including opening and closing for @tiesto on Friday night. The EDM scene in Kentucky is in good hands with Gudgroove at the helm, and EDM helps the rest of us in the house and techno worlds. Best of luck nephew! So so proud of you!

Man, I’ve dreamed of bootleg/remixing this track for years. One could say it’s my “white whale”, no pun intended. There are very few songs that imprint you so much that it changes the way your soul feels music, and in the early 80s “White Lines” did just that to my soul.
