I made this @sewliberated #schoolhousetunic four years ago in a class at @spoolofthread here in Vancouver and I've worn it maybe five times? If that. I definitely never thought to wear it with just leggings, as I am today.
It's not that bad, right? If only it had pockets.
Of course, I'm wearing it with my beloved @helens__closet #averyleggings made from the buttery soft mystery fabric I riped off a mannequin at an @oursocialfabric sale. #noregrets
My closet is getting full and overwhelming me with choices, so I'm on a mission to evaluate its contents and make some difficult choices about what is going to stay and what is going to have to go. Which means I'm expecting to be wearing some odd combinations of clothes over the next while as I try to figure out what kind of wardrobe my life needs right now.

I modified this Grainline Studio Uniform Tunic into a dress. I had never used one of their patterns and was super impressed with the detailed instructions. I bought the pattern and the Dear Stella fabric at Spool of Thread in Vancouver. I love the fabric design and am obsessed with this company! This tunic has cool hidden pockets on the front which is awesome! I was disappointed in the end result though as I chose the wrong fabric for this dress. The two were not meant for each other. I plan to make another one of these dresses with a softer fabric next time. #liveandlearn
