In case you missed it, BC has deemed sewing and knitting not “essential” and is removing the PST exemption on fabric and yarn used for making and repairing clothing on October 1st, 2026. BC was the only province to have this progressive exemption. Feels like we should be encouraging mending and making your own clothes instead of the opposite. 🤷🏻♂️
