Just realised that I have been quilting for 20 years! To celebrate I’m going to share all my quilt labels in one post. I still have a few that need to be sewn, so it’s a good way to force me to label up! #quiltstack #quilts

More of the green stuff! My wild foxgloves seem to have lessened lately, I put it down to my over attentive seed saving activities. *note to myself* leave foxgloves to selfsow and don’t pot them up because you will never replant them! I have bought some foxglove seedlings but have no idea if they were sown last year to flower this year… #englishgarden

I’m sticking with Double You. As a hayfever survivor I’m not one for flowers indoors but on the advice of @docleaves I saved my already crisp tulips and bunged them in a vase. These tulips are becoming my favourites as they continue to change daily and even now as they blow out they still add life to the garden If you want tulips with a long life don’t bother with the trendy divas! #doubleyoutulips #bungedinavase

Some tulips have a brief moment of joy and some elegantly fade. As I deadhead the spent tulips I am realising how much of their beauty I missed; grateful for the steadfastness of this Jimmy tulip, even as his petals fall. #Englishgarden

The third instalment of The Suitcase Diaries is another special one. My Christening 1974. I’m so grateful that my Mum made her dresses in this stretch fabric, because I can squeeze into them. She loved this pattern. There are 3 more dresses like this one, that’s another story. Upon filming this I realised that my christening dress is made from the same fabric as her wedding dress and that’s another another story!! ps. The tune relates to the baby me, not that I don’t think I’m lovely! #vintagedress #1970s #wearingmymumsclothes
